Unbelievable work these folks do...we have just adopted our 3rd rescue from "The Hotel" our first adoption was in 2017 before they actually had a place to call home in Cumberland. Our 2nd was in fall of 2019 and our latest this year 2024. Our family just keeps growing!

Had the opportunity to volunteer here for a day through work, and there is nothing but great things to say. These animals are so well taken care of until they’re brought into a new family, the place is beautiful and comforting for the dogs, it’s amazing to hear how many people volunteer and take the dogs out with walks or a day trip. Definitely will be back to volunteer again! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am a current volunteer and they are hands down the best shelter I’ve volunteered for! An amazing hardworking team that takes such wonderful care of their animals. The shelter is beautiful and inviting. I could not recommend the Hotel enough!!! :)

We adopted a 4-month-old puppy from the Hotel in July 2024 and enjoyed our experience. While dog adoption seems to be fast-paced process across all shelters, the Hotel staff were responsive and helped us get in quick to meet our new dog. They set up a meeting time for us and then even let us take the night to think it over as we were between two puppies (wish we could've taken them both!). The shelter was clean and inviting, and we were sent home with toys and some food for the new pup. The Hotel is doing great work!

I had gotten a bit of a run around with some other shelters and petfinder. I was skeptical when we went into to meet Marley (who we now call Freya). She was exactly as she was described. We were able to meet her in a nice room, take her for a walk, and continue hanging out with her in the room we started in. The shelter was super busy but they were managing everything so well. The facilities are super clean. They were super patient and thorough with us with all of our questions. I’m very very happy that we gave this place a chance! Now I have a new best friend who fits right into our life. <3 Thabk you so much for making this possible, Hotel For Homeless Dogs!!!
