We take both of our dogs (puppies) to Pekin Veterinary Clinic. We (our dogs love them). They were absolutely 💯 wonderful at working us in and checking out our 1 year old Frenchton who was not feeling well for a couple of days. They are so patient with her even when she has her mood swings or does not want them to do something. They are there for your furr baby and you. Thank you so much for helping Lily to get better. Now, Ivy will have her playmate back again. Plus, we love to see them happy and healthy. Thank you again. M & M Berardi

I take both my dogs to Pekin Veterinary Clinic, and I love them there. When my dog Mia tore her ACL and I didn't know how I was going to get her in the car one of the tech's there was going to come to my house and help me on her own time no less. You can't ask for more then that.

I love them! They treat you with kindness and respect. Our dog Zoey has been having a rough go for about a year and they take their time to help you learn how to care for your pets and are always willing to answer my questions in detail. Highly recommend!

They did a hands down wonderful job with our oldest male when we had an emergency issue. The staff is incredible and we will definitely be back soon…

I have went to Pekin Vet for years and never seemed to have a problem with much. This is not the case now and I WILL BE going to a new vet. I ordered heartguard and nexguard from somewhere other than them due to their very HIGH costs for those meds. The place I ordered from had a deal going on that if you bought 6 months and did auto ship I could get 6 months of both Nextguard and Heartguard for $141.00 total. They required a prescription from my vet which I had done previously and didn't have any problems with the place contacting my vet. This time I was told by the place I ordered from that I now needed to go get a paper prescription from them and mail to them which is a big hassle. I went and got the prescription and it was only for 3 months so I called them back. I was told due to the LAW I could only get 3 months supply until my dog had her heartworm test in October. So I had to change my order to 3 months which cost me $112 for 3 months and for another $28 I could have had 6 months supply. I have never missed a vet appt, everything is up to date and I looked it up and there is NO LAW about this. I believe they just wanted us to buy from them but they charged $220 for 6 months and I could have gotten for $140. They didn't care if I was paying almost double for the meds because they wouldn't fill it for 6 months. The stupid thing is that we give these meds monthly anyway so why didn't they fill it? I wonder had I ordered 6 months from them if they would have filled it. I won't be going back to them.
