Writing only because of a really rude employee, who said I could not bring more than one cat and the cat I did bring had to be in a crate. I had read at my vets office very carefully intructions and requirements for Frankie‘s friends I had driven from McKeesRocks to new Kensington to meet with the staff and make sure I was doing the right thing and I knew what the requirements were nothing was said about no crates and nothing was said about only one cat, the woman I argued w said that I had to leave. I said I’m not leaving. I’ve come this far I’m staying! other people came to my rescue when I did finally drop off the cats another client came out to the curb, she said “please don’t be upset. She’s just a very rude person” so I feel bad because I told her that I was singing the praises of Frankie‘s friends until I met her and now I would not be doing that anymore. that really put her over the edge. All of that was a bad experience. Everybody else was fine. The cats are fine. I did bring three they were pregnant at the time. It was a good thing that I did and I’m glad that Frankie‘s friends was there, but I do not want to meet that receptionist again.

Similar to another person that has left a review with this rescue, my best friend and I had visited Black Cat Market, a partner of Frankie’s Friends, and fell in love with one of the available cats. My best friend had emailed an inquiry in order to get the adoption process going, but was left to wait for days for a response. When they finally did provide a response, they said that they “don’t like to do out of state adoptions”, nothing else was explained or said. My best friend lives in East Palestine, Ohio, only about 1 hour from Pittsburgh. I can understand that precautions should be taken, but my best friend was very prepared to adopt this cat and was willing to work with the rescue and still find some way in order to adopt him. When my friend responded, explaining that she is still very interested and was now asking about if she could still find a way to adopt him, her email was again not responded to. At that point, I decided to email this rescue myself and inquire about the reasoning behind why they are not willing to allow an out of state adoption. But I too was ignored. I have seen Frankie’s Friends explain that they are busy and do not have all the time in the world, but they took the time to review another adoption inquiry and allowed that adoption for the same cat that we were interested in! An email explaining anything at all would have been nice so we could have gotten some closure. To say we’re disappointed is an understatement. Frankie’s Friends, you need to do better with communicating with potential adopters. There are many people that can provide your cats with loving homes if you can just take some time to reach out to them and provide clear communication. I honestly do not want a response from you guys, we’re already disappointed, frustrated, and confused as is, and no response will resolve how we feel.

Easy to schedule an appointment online. Our cats spay was super quick. Dropped her off in the morning, my toddler was very upset to leave her so when I got the call to come pick her up just a couple hours later I was surprised and relieved. The front desk lady seemed very empathetic to my son's being sad about his kitty. Affordable and the outside of the one building with the cats painted out front is wonderful to see.

I was very nervous about the whole experience of leaving my cat (who is not nice lol) with strangers. Everything went smoothly from booking the appointment to drop off and picking her up a couple hours after. The staff was kind and efficient. Highly recommend.

Had a great experi With my pitbulls neuter today through tiny cause hip to snip program. Staff was friendly and took good care of our boy hes doing great so far would definitely recommend for low cost needs

I say they are real cheap at spay and neuter but I try call about one my cats need a dental work and never got a call back. Like its expensive for dental work and if they could at least call back and let me know if they offer it.
