First of all I want to start this by saying I have 6 animals - 3 cats & 3 dogs. Our first baby has been seen by Dr. Keifer since she was a puppy - 6 years ago! He truly shows the animal so much love and grace, even gets on the floor with them to give kisses, and extra lovin. This speaks VOLUMES on his character as a vet. The staff is lovely from the moment you walk in the door & have shown me so much compassion in some trying times. They do their best to work our babies in the schedule if we have an urgent matter. Megan has always been so sweet and understanding. Even in times we’ve had emergencies and couldn’t be seen here & go elsewhere, we quickly realize how lucky we are to have Dr. Keifer as our vet.

We love Dr Kiefer! We have been taking all of our 4-legged loves to him since moving into NE Georgia in 2020. Even when we have had emergencies they have worked with us and gone above expectations. 💕 🐾 💕

Everyone from the front desk, vet techs, and the doctor were very friendly. The doc listened to all our concerns and took a very affordable approach to handling them. Even though our pup was not a fan of the doc, he was not deterred nor afraid to give him the exam our boy needed. He still loved on him and treated him with kindness and love. Could not be any happier with the staff there!

I adore Dr. K and the rest of his staff! They always take the time to listen to concerns, answer questions, and make you as well as your pet feel welcome and comfortable. My babies love and appreciate them!

I have been taking my fur babies to this vet for years, I now live an hour away and still drive to take my babies to see him. Dr. Keifer is the most honest and caring vet around (which is very hard to come by these days). He also informs you of extra options and the cost to give you a choice in your fur babies care.

We came to see Dr Keifer after an unfortunate experience with our previous vet's office. Everyone in the office was extremely kind and compassionate regarding a difficult situation we were dealing with for our dog Lola. We are moving our other dogs to Hartwell Animal Hospital's care and look forward to working with Dr. Keifer and his staff in the future.
