Dr. Cheryl is very helpful for all my cats needs. Rodney, the gray cat, had a tumor in his mouth and Dr. said it grows fast. It took 11 days and we had to put him to sleep. 😿 . He was 15. Thank you Countryside for all your help over the years. I will continue to bring my cats there.
I've been taking my cats to Dr. Cheryl at Countryside Animal Clinic for at least 7 years. Dr.Cheryl is so knowledgeable, down to earth and compassionate! From the front desk to the techs, everyone is kind and professional. The prices are usually lower than most other Vets (including Pattersons). So you are getting excellent care for your pet at affordable prices! I drive about 20 minutes to get to her office because she and the Clinic are worth having to listen to my cats cry the whole drive there. I highly recommend.
I've been taking my cat to Dr. Karen Worthingington. She was having some problem with her stomach with lots of red spots .scratching and biting alots. Dr. Karen think it from allergy or mosquito bite. My cat never been outside. For shots steroids and antibiotics. When she get better. After 6 weeks it get worse. Charge me 1st phone call was $50 plus 3 shots was total $145. Never go back again
The staff is friendly and efficient and the doctors are competent and kind! I take all my animals there for regular care and recommend others do the same. Reasonably priced and stellar care!
I NEVER write reviews, good or bad, but this was ridiculous!!! I go there for a heart worm test so I can get more flea/tick/heartworm medication for my dog. Once I get in the room, the Vet lady comes in and while I'm in there I figure, "Hmm might as well just ask her a quick question about my dogs ears and see what she thinks" Same thing if I was at my doctors office getting seen for one thing, I might as well as a question if I'm here, right no big deal? (Except the doctor's office doesn't charge you extra money for asking questions) So I simply tell her my dog is itching his ears really bad and then licks his paws, she said could be allergies. So she grabs a flashlight, looks in both of his ears and puts a Qtip in one of them. That's all she did! She then proceed to go on for about 2 minutes on how I could clean them with apple cider vinegar, blah blah blah, use a cotton ball. So about 3-4 minutes of her time....Luckily I asked for a receipt when I checked out. So I get into my car and wondered why my bill was so much, it should only be about 130$...32$ for heartworm test and 100$ for 3 month supply of medication. I look at the receipt and without even telling me, I was charged 38$ FOR A "BRIEF EXAM". The Vet Lady NEVER TOLD ME I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR ASKING A SIMPLE QUESTION and taking up 3 minutes of her time. If I would have known I'd be charged 38$ I would have kept my mouth shut and just googled it, I would have NEVER thought I would be charged that amount for a question! So I go back inside and ask what a short exam was, and asked if It was for asking about my dogs ears. The reception lady went back and asked and then said yes, it was for your dogs ears. I was shocked because the Vet Lady NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT BEING CHARGED FOR LOOKING IN HIS EARS for 20 seconds. I ask to talk to someone else, and a blonde lady down the hall opened her door and asked me to come over. I go in there and proceeded to tell her how I should have been notified that I would be charged 38$ for asking a simple question. She went on to tell me they have "good prices", "we have to make money to keep our doors open and pay these Vets". I'm like so you charge people extra money without even telling them they're being charged and all I did was ask a QUESTION! She said it would take to much time to explain to people they would be charged if they asked about this or that.. I'm like well it wouldn't have taken long with me because if she told me I was going to be charged almost 40$ for a question I wouldn't have said a word about it. She had nothing to say so I walked out of the room and into my car. EXTREMELY SHADY and will not be going back or ever recommending this place.
The staff is always so pleasant to work with and they do their best to keep costs down which is much appreciated. We've been coming here for years now and recommend them to anyone looking for veterinarian services.
