The lady that runs this particular adoption seems very unprofessional. We filled out an adoption application and were denied simply for having young children. There was no attempt to even meet us or anything. The only form of communication was text message. I had to call repeatedly to even get the response at all just to be told we were denied. We have a loving home, plenty of room, a healthy 1 1/2 year old cat that we raised. A vet that has records on our animal care. No where on the application does it say that young children result in denial, it does say that if you have young children they may need to come in and interact with the animal. So whats left is a cat still living in a cage and a heartbroken family. Save yourself some time and go to Beaumont Animal Care.

Absolutely wonderful! I had been begging rescues etc for help for weeks with no luck. Judy was very compassionate and did not hesitate to offer some much needed help for the stray cats :)

I applied at petsmart for adoption. Very poor communication and extremely rude. It was 4 days before I heard from anyone and I was told that the cat I applied for was on hold for someone who applied nearly 5 weeks ago and that hasnt paid for or picked up yet. So when I asked to adopt a different cat I was told that she could not meet me and that she would not adopt to me because I was buggin her and that she had a real job and didnt have time for this. I dont believe she is trying to adopt out the cats. She told me she would give me numbers to all the other rescues so I could adopt from someone else. I'm pretty certain I was discriminated against for my race.
