I have never written a review before for any entity (other than a restaurant). I have the highest respect for the diligence, professionalism, and basic dog and human kindness associated with this group. When we were in crisis and had to made one of the hardest decisions of our life, they handled our situation with utter respect, expertise and care.

Second Chance Pet Adoption League makes the adoption process so seamless! They allowed us to take our pup home right after meeting him, and the paperwork wasn’t too long to fill out. Stephanie is a great matchmaker and is quick to reply to your inquiry’s or questions post-adoption. An overall great experience. Thank you!

I've adopted 2 dogs from them since the mid 2000s. Second chance has changed my life! So much so that I volunteered with them for a while. They're caring and understanding. They are amazing at matching dogs with the right people. I ❤ and appreciate them!!

I adopted four dogs from them. They take good care of the animals and provide medical care as needed and will advise of any medical issues that may be found. These animals are/have been among the best pets I was fortunate to have in my care.

I love these folks, we got our first dog from them, and we continue to donate, but I do wish they'd find a new veterinarian to work with. Animal Clinic of Morris Plains was sold to VCA and the place has become just awful - no consideration for existing clients, poor care, few staff and just what you'd expect from a giant conglomerate providing animal care - money first and foremost is the important thing to them. PLEASE - if you adopt, consider finding another local vet - don't just default to the vet who hosts the adoption day (in hopes of getting some free PR).
