I love banfield pet hospital! My senior girls are on wellness plans and eat prescription food. I can take them in for concerns and know they will be treated with kindness and I don’t worry about big things that come up because the plans include discounts and a lot of “included”features.

This is a very compassionate group of people that truly care for you and your pets. We had to say goodbye to our 13 year old lab last week. We have been seeing this team for our pets care for the past six years. This team made this process as easy as possible. They were genuinely sympathetic, understood the emotions of the situation, walked us through the process thoroughly, and allowed us to say goodbye taking as much time as needed. Thank you Plainfield Banfield Team for making a very difficult situation as easy as possible.

Dr. Portwood and the staff are literally the best animal care providers I have ever personally experienced. They take my goals/expectations for my animals and honor any concerns I have. They use positive reinforcement and make the visits as stress free as possible. I have no words to express how grateful I am to every staff member there. Also, Twyla is amazing and the sweetest.

Only 1, maybe 2 of the vets were what I would consider good. Most of them including our main vet were very cold acting towards people and animals which seemed odd for that line of work. They seemed more concerned about making money off their plans than actually caring for animals and we could never actually get a more urgent appointment for weeks for something that didn't quite warrant a true animal hospital visit. We switched a few years ago to a local vet in Camby and couldn't be happier. We will never use Banfield again!
