Unfortunately, we didn’t even get a chance to volunteer the minute this man heard our daughter uses a wheelchair. Supposedly they help disabled animals, but absolutely no chance of a disabled person volunteering there. Too bad - they lost out. Your loss. Will share these thoughts with many.

We adopted a kitten from Puppyland a month ago. She has brought us so much love. Puppyland provided her first 2 vaccines. Our vet says she is a very healthy kitty. She is the sweetest animal we have ever met - loves to snuggle, play and just be in the same room as us. Thank you, Puppyland.

I have gotten some really nice dogs and a few cats over the years really nice people. There's a young volunteer named Rachel she's really good with the animals. If you have time to spare volunteer there they can always use the help or if you have some spare change they can always use the donations.

If I could give 0 stars I would.‼️‼️‼️So Cali(our first cat from here, got her last September) was diagnosed with ring worm last Friday, vet said Viper(second cat from here, got him in May)probably had it while he was at the shelter (doesn’t surprise me since conditions aren’t the greatest) and must have gotten through it before we adopted him. Took him in yesterday and turns out he still had traces of it on him but she plucked the two hairs that had it and is now ring worm “free”. I decided to message puppyland to let them know..person running the Facebook page said that they are aware of the ring worm and are currently treating the other cats/kittens. They claim they do a full vet check up but if they actually did a FULL check up, they would have found ring worm in those kittens. Not once did we receive a phone call letting us know that he might have had ring worm. I told them that for the future they really should make their customers aware of these issues even if it doesn’t have affect on the cat. That’s just what good businesses do. I told them that I had contracted the ring worm as well. They eventually go on to tell me that I am banned from stepping foot on their property and even threatened to call the cops. This all may seem one sided but I have screenshots to prove all the messages and I was not rude at all. I did not ask for money back, I was simply letting them know about our situation and that they should treat their other animals. I posted this on social media, and got a lot of comments saying that they are surprised this place isn’t shut down yet. One person told me the cats they got there came with fleas! Unfortunately the local police have bigger problems to deal with so that’s why I’m leaving this review 🤷🏼‍♀️ Adopt here at your own risk! PS the cat building smells HORRIBLE! Hope this helped!

DO NOT DROP OFF ANIMALS HERE! Have a soul and take them to Washington County Humane Society. Lorn is a total psycho. Literally has problems. He calls the sheriff on all his good volunteers with ideas to make changes to improve the conditions of the place for the animals. Super threatened of everyone good. I am one of those people. Sorry for wanting better for the animals, bud. Also sorry for advertising a needy dog on Facebook. He actually removed the dog from being adoptable for me doing this. Normal, right? They should have been shut down years ago. Adopt from here. But NEVER surrender an animal here. Ever.

I recently adopted a cat from Puppyland. He is the sweetest boy. He is healthy and well cared for. The enclosures are very spacious and very clean. I was a humane officer for 10 years, certified by the State and found no issues. Ring worm is very common among animals and humans and some symptoms do not show for up to 14 days, so the woman posting nasty comments is completely wrong. All animals receive vet care and vaccinations. If you question the care of Puppyland go in and see it for yourself. Don’t rely on comments from people who you don’t know. Also go to a big humane society and you will find cats in small boxes. Puppyland has enclosures where the cats can stretch their legs and move around.
