I called asking why my application was denied, all because my one dog isn't neutered due to health concerns, and the guy on the phone said "because you are supposed to for health reasons" I wanted to tell him about why my one dog is not neutered and he got mad and hung up on me as I was talking. I feel bad for the animals here that could have gone to great homes but some of the volunteers and policies in place are preventing that. EDIT: I replied twice to the email asking why I was rejected because of my one dog not being neutered and still no reply. I understand if I was looking to get a female dog that wasn't spayed, and my dog wasn't neutered. But this isn't the case at all. I was a foster mom before and have taken in plenty of dogs from the street and would find hem great homes but at the time we were not ready to have another dog permanently living with us and the rescue never had a problem. But when we met Dutton and he reminded us so much of our dog that we have now and to see his face it killed us, and we wanted to give him a great home and new brother that actually looks just like him. I just hope this can be resolved.

We had a wonderful experience adopting Gucci. He is adorable #kitten, full of energy and love. The process of adopting was very smooth. Jaime did a great job helping us through the process of being adopted by Halo, the wonder puppy! Everyone was very friendly and excited for us and clearly love what they do in finding homes for needy pups. Amazing rescue shelter, I have a friend who adopted his dog from here, and I got my cat Mimi from them too! They really do care about the animals and do all they can to get them to their forever home!
