Called about a friendly cat that was clearly an indoor cat that got out. It took over an hour for the on call person to get here and by that time the cat was gone. Left us an animal trap to cage it ourselves, are you kidding me?! My father used to be the old animal control officer for Rockaway Township and he is turning in his grave at what they have become. Absolutely ridiculous. Unreliable to say the least. Someone needs to be in this position who has a sense of urgency and also gives a damn about the well being of animals!!

These people are inhuman animal haters. Treating pets like a way to make money and show power. Some one complained my dog was not a leash, yet she has never been off our property!! I know people are mean, but why would animal control worry about a 7lb. Chihuahua
