My kids and I love to volunteer here. The staff is helpful, animals are treated well, and facilities are very clean. Very sweet place.
On the 22th of January 2024 I will be taking 2 male orange Tabby kittens to them to find them permanent loving homes. The one that has all white socks is Named: Plus And the other one is Named: Minus They both are fixed and they are about 6 or 7 months old. They both were curled up underneath my back porch and I wasn't about to leave them under there by themselves.
My husband and I were so happy to take one the dogs at the shelter for a field trip! We already have 3 cats at home and are not able to have our own dog so we were grateful for such an easy and special experience to take one of their dogs out for a walk at the park
The staff is amazing! They knew a lot of details about the animals they have there. They helped me pick out the perfect cat for my family that gets along with dogs and children. I would highly recommend going here. Everything is set up so well for viewings. They will help you pick out the perfect animal for you and your family.
Amazing experience adopting a dog here and she is the perfect fit for our family. I can't express how grateful I am. The shelter is also one of the cleanest I have ever seen.
I recently contacted LFAW for help for the 1st time, as I'd found a 4-week old sick kitten and was struggling with bottle feeding, and concerned about it's survival. It took them only 1 hour to call me back and a foster family took over the care that same day!!! Truly remarkable group.
