I purchased my first hedgehog from here and I had my wonderful little quill baby for four great years and he was happy and healthy and great. Several months after he passed I purchased another hedgehog from here but I was unable to continue to care for her due to my own medical reasons and they graciously adopted her back. My hedgehogs from here have been healthy and beautiful. I got a hedgehog from a local non-chain pet store for my classroom and it was a terrible experience. Let's just say I had to return it two days later because my "male" hedgehog had babies and then they exchanged it for another hedgehog that died within two months. So getting a hedgehog from this breeder is the way to go! Their hedgehogs are great and the business is helpful in answering any questions you have about caring for your hedgehog. If I ever do get a hedgehog again I am definitely going through muddy creek hedgehogs only!

I had previously purchased a hedgehog from Muddy Creek Hedgehogs back when they were named Muddy Creek Farms, and I am very happy to see they have started breeding again. Our hedgehog Quilliam was with us for a long time and I am happy to know we will be able to adopt another baby from the same hedgehog breeder. Ashley was always helpful when I had questions and that was very important to us.
