Highly recommended! Dr. Loveland is absolutely amazing. My dog Cali has horrible anxiety at the vets office but she sure does love Dr. Loveland! She’s great at explaining everything and truly has your pets best interest in mind at all times. We drive 40 minutes just to see her!

I knew our Ruby had a terrible ear infection! They got her in right away, assessed the situation, taught me how to take care of her ears! I’m a nurse but don’t know the first thing about dog ears! They are all so gentle and kind to us all! They were able to give Ruby her vaccines while we were there and let me run home to get our other dog, Kate, for her vaccines… appreciate that so much!

I started taking my elderly cat to Waunakee Vet to get a second opinion on teeth cleaning and tooth extraction a few years ago. Last year I also needed another opinion when my cat was unable to use his hind legs and couldn’t walk for about a week. I was amazed when my cat bounced back, when I thought I was going to have to put him down. I’m so grateful I was able to get another 6 months to love and care for my cat. I’m forever grateful for all the love and kindness I received from Waunakee Vet. Sadly, I had to put my cat Felix down last month. I received a card in the mail from them and was touched with their gift in memory of Felix. Thank you for helping me and helping Felix when he needed it. I know he loved all of his visits to the clinic 💜

I loved to the Madison area almost two years ago. One would have thought my biggest stressor would be a new job and leaving my friends of 20+ years but they weren't. It was finding vet care for my then four animals, now five. I did all the things of posting for suggestions and asking people at work where they went. I did try another vet in the area but didn't get a very welcoming feel. When I went to Waunakee Vet it felt familiar. It felt welcoming and still does. I love that they don't push me into decisions and respect my decisions. Having five, there are a lot of those. If they don't actually love my animals, I wouldn't know it. They treat each of them like family and always find at least a couple things great to say about each of them. Another great thing is I don't have to worry about what vet or technician I am scheduled with as I haven't had one I didn't like. It is a great group of talented individuals. I am glad I found Waunakee Vet for my family!

We have been taking our pets to Waunakee Vet Clinic for years. We love everyone there. They are thoughtful, compassionate and professional. Our pets have never been afraid to go in their door. I highly recommend this clinic.
