My fur babies looked to have just as wonderful of a vacation as I did when picking them up. This was their first time boarding here. They stayed for 10 days while I was out of the country. The staff let me know what medical information was needed for boarding when I first called to make the reservation. The pricing was also very reasonable. I chose this place because it eased my worries knowing that my pets will be able to see a vet if needed. They also were very pleasant in greeting at drop off and let me know the night before that all I needed to bring was my pets food if I would like. The place was very lovely and clean inside! All staff was friendly, I will definitely be taking my fur babies back there whenever I travel. They looked healthy and well cared for when I picked them up. Overall an awesome experience to know your pets are loved while you are away. You all are awesome!! Love Reese and Loona!

I have to send a review about my bunny's spay experience. I didn't see any when I searched here, so I want to leave a review for those who have bunnies and are considering GVC. Doctor Orenstein was great throughout the entire process. He was very honest about the risks associated with the procedure due to anesthesia. I was extremely nervous however, her risk of death from cancer was higher without the surgery. Leading up to the surgery, Dr. O consulted with me and ran tests to ensure that she was healthy enough for surgery. We also discussed the cost of the procedure, the blood tests, nail trim (free during the surgery), pre and post op expectations. Both Dr. O and the nurse assisting him where excellent with Samantha Bunny (aka-Sammie Girl). On the day of the surgery, the front desk staff were pleasant. I felt comfortable leaving her with them. I was also told that a decision would be made after surgery of Sammie could go home, or if she would stay overnight. I was comfortable with either option. Before COB, Dr. O called me to inform me that all was well and that Samantha was free to go home unless I wanted her to stay overnight. I preferred to pick her up. When I arrived, she was comfortably in the same room with the doctor and another provider. They showed me the medications that she would need to take for the next few days (for pain reduction and infection prevention) and they helped me to administer the first doses. The doctor also showed me her incision. The next day, Naomi called to check on Samantha. She also answered a few questions that I had about about her restrictions. It's been 7 days now and Samantha is doing extremely well. She never skipped a meal doing her entire recovery time. If it were not for the scar on her stomach and her meds, there would be no other indication that she had surgery. She is still full of energy and just as playful. Unfortunately, she has to be restricted in her movement for now, but she should be back to normal in the next 2-3 days. Her last day on meds will be today. Thank you GVC!!!!

My cats and my chickens have been well cared for with sensitivity and thoughtfulness. The staff is friendly and efficient. My only concern would be that the trips to and from the treatment rooms in crates should be less bumpy for my cats.

They were able to squeeze us in and went the extra mile for us. Very clean waiting room with free coffee and water.

We've used this vet for years & always felt that they were always trying to find a way to increase our bill by adding additional services when we would come in for a specific service. What prompted us to leave for good was when they gave us an estimate for dental work for our dog & we called another recommended vet for a comparable quote & they were half the cost. We switched then & we were charged exactly what they quoted. Saved $900! Gambrills Vet is outrageously expensive knowing what we know now.

This place is horrible. They treat their employees like absolute trash. I have never ever seen such harassment take place like this. The doctor is a literal garbage human being and treats his employees like slaves. Do not go here. This doctor needs to be taken to court or get his license revoked. He is a horrible human.
