I left a message with the outreach department last night around 7 pm. I was with a 64 year old lady in need of a shelter, It is 3:50 pm and I just got a vall back. Disgusting.

I have read the reviews and not many real recent listed. My son is currently there and has been in the last week complaining to me that condiments are expired and bagels English muffins are moldy/ milk is curdled. No coffee, etc. I am grateful for Joseph’s House but people are people and deserve food that is not expired , bad, moldy. This organization is donation based and they should not be donating bad food and beverages. I have advised my son to put a written complaint in asking for services to be rectified and he be notified of this problem and to go to DSS and complain there also. It’s about humanity and compassion, so please rectify this problem. I happen to have helped as long as I could afford to. This is what Joseph’s House is for. Photos represent vomit!

Nicest people in Troy, and extremely helpful.My daughter and I had to stay there, before we got into housing.That was two years ago.I still stop by to say hello, and see everybody.Brandon was my worker.Greatest guy in the world! And Yolanda is pretty cute! Mary is an angel.That place is a life saver!
