Today, after having invested thousands of dollars over time at this location, I encountered a deeply upsetting situation. I called to seek urgent care for my dog, who suffered a potentially severe injury last night, possibly a broken hip. Unfortunately, the receptionist, citing our last visit being four years ago, bluntly denied us an appointment. Despite my attempts to explain our absence due to the overwhelming challenges of caring for my mother amidst the pandemic, ultimately leading to her passing, the receptionist remained indifferent and dismissive. Her insistence that they were not accepting new patients, coupled with her rudeness, left me astonished. This is the most disheartening experience I've ever had in the care of my pets. The justification that a missed communication—allegedly a card sent to our six-generation family home, or a claim of an unattended appointment which is inaccurate—was used to deny service, reflects a lack of compassion and professionalism. Given the negative attitude and lack of empathy displayed, I cannot endorse this facility for pet care. The environment they foster is not one where I would want my dog to be treated.

This is my normal Vet that I bring my animals. They are very caring and give you options of treatment, if there is a choice. They are so sweet and caring with my animals. Update I've recently moved but still use Collar City Animal Hospital even though it's a 30 min trip one way as my pets have issues and they have seen them their whole lives so the Vet knows their history.

As new pet owners, Collar City Vet was recommended to us by the folks who rescued and gave us our pet. They are very caring and patient, and she doesn’t mind going for her checkups which says a lot! They are reasonably priced and worth it!

Love the people there. They took care of Oreo like it's one of there own. Thank you so much for caring and giving us support. My baby girl got hit by a car. And I was a reck. But they were so supportive. I just love going to them. Thanks again for everything you done. Pattie Kelly
