The most incredible and loving Vet hospital I have ever been too! Both the Vet and the staff genuinely love animals, and will go above and beyond to cater to your pets, and your, needs. EXCEPTIONAL Service !!! Professional yet very friendly. Caring & attentive and they ALWAYS acknowledge my Furbaby, George, and comfort him to calm his nerves. They are ALL just GREAT !! I just LOVE how everyone personally acknowledges my Furbaby in a soothing manner. Very personable and relaxed atmosphere. Dr. and Staff are great & extremely caring & knowledgeable. Best Vet EVER ! MY experience is based on my Aussie's experience, bcuz to me, that is what actually counts, and WE BOTH, absolutely LOVE Highland Animal Hospital !!! The Doctor and the Staff are Extremely Attentive, Personable, Caring, Friendly, Professional, and Knowledgeable. All of my experiences are great !!! They even have AFTER HOURS for EMERGENCIES which is EXTREMELY important!!! Clean facilities, friendly staff, good old hometown atmosphere, wonderful boarding facilities with a great shaded play yard, and Great QUALITY Care ! If you ask them during a visit, they will even take the time to show you, in detail, how to do CPR on your pet, which EVERY PET PARENT should know !!! The inside sign says it ALL..... "A Righteous Man Regardeth the Life of his Beast" !!! And that's how they treat furbabies.

I took our dog to the Highland Animal Hospital today. Everyone was very caring and professional. The doctor completed his examination of our dog, prescribed medication and off we went back home. Couldn't have been any easier.

I know a lot of people prefer Mitchell Co. Over this one because they're cheaper. But My husband walked in with our rescue dog after he was brutally attacked so badly there was no way he could've survived that; and they dropped everything to sew his scalp back on, set his skull fractures and take care of his other wounds immediately. RIGHT AFTER he was finally, fully healed he got parvo. The care they gave Benji Tyrone was so incredible!!!! They saved his life, went out of their way to come up with an affordable treatment plan and even made sure they brought the 1 of our 3 other rescues who needed a booster in immediately to protect her. I could go on and on about how amazing they've been to every single one of our babies. Mitchell County is great as well, but highland is literally around the corner here in town and I don't believe anyone anywhere could've saved our little dog, and or been willing to drop everything as grave and numerous as his condition was. I've seen other veterinarians give no other option but euthanasia in similar situations with other people's animals. Thank God for this place. He uses them to give hope !❤️

Serving on a board for animal rescue & having 5 dogs & 4 cats of my own, I can confidently say that Dr Burt and the staff at Highland Animal Hospital are hands down who you want caring for your animals. HAH is a blessing to our community, people and animals alike.
