It is amazing the work that SNARR does. I see some of the dogs they rescue and think why are they trying. Then I think about our precious Luna. She was hit by a car before she was rescued and had to have major surgery on her back legs. You would never know that today. She loves to run flat out and runs in a circle. We call her a whirling dervish. She loves to stand up on her back legs which is OK until she's near people or the counter. She is the love of our lives.
We adopted a trailer puppy named Belle who is absolutely the sweetest puppy we have ever had. She was supposed to be a smaller dog but is now weighing in at about 40 lbs. lWe fell in love with her the moment we saw her, she just melted our hearts. SNARR was so helpful and made the process so easy to adopt our girl. Our contact person was so helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns. The pickup was located a few miles from our home and the transfer was so simple and easy. I would recommend SNARR to all my friends and family to adopt.
We want to thank the loving and caring volunteers that made it possible for our sweet Gypsy Rose, (formerly named Nikki from Texas) to grace us with her love. We love her so much, especially her big brother Highway.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SNARR!!! I have gotten three amazing dogs from them. And I fostered two others. I am a foster fail with the three that I got from them but am very proud of it. My other two fosters went to loving and caring homes, and they keep in touch with me periodically to keep my aprised of their happy lives, which is always a requirement of mine if I let my fosters go!!!! I wish I could keep them all. I love them all. Thank you, Snarr, for doing what you do!
SNARR and blythe specifically are absolutely awesome!! I recently adopted a dog through snarr and couldn't believe how caring they truly were. This is an organization I feel amazing supporting, and I can't wait to do it again! Max loves his new home!!
SNARR is a wonderful organization, I truly cannot express how grateful we are to have worked with them to rescue our second dog. The application is long but rightfully so, they truly care about who they are giving these animals to, and they want it to be a good match not only for the animals but for the people too. Communication was clear and easy, we never felt like we had any unanswered questions. These people volunteer their time even while having busy lives outside of the organization, and they have hearts of gold. A lot of these animals are in really rough shape when they are first rescued by SNARR and to see the lives they grow into because of being given a chance is truly incredible. All the negative reviews I see here honestly seem like people who are just upset because they didn't get the animal they wanted. In my opinion if you're an animal lover, you want that animal to go to the best home for them regardless of if it is your home or not in the end. Our little guy came all the way from Texas, we picked him up in New York and drove him all the way to our home in Maine, and we are so happy we did! Our adoption coordinator even texted us to make sure we made it home safely. We highly recommend this organization, they are truly great people doing amazing things for animals and families like ours!
