Hard to find but worth supporting their great cause of helping the animals. The animals are great with kids and have interesting back stories. While we have cats at home my kids loved the cats the most and tried to take the black one home.

I drove about 2 hours to bring my daughter here to see animals as she loves them so much. We are both vegan and I was completely shocked that an animal sanctuary would be serving dead animals. Seems pretty messed up. Even one of the volunteers who was vegetarian was confused when she told me the corn dogs were not in fact vegan. Parents should also note that the area is not stroller friendly when visiting. Almost everything is sand and hard to navigate with a toddler.

We love the farm at Outland North. Diana was so gracious to open up on Saturday so that my grandchildren could visit. She spent an hour and a half with us giving us a private tour. And we were very grateful for the visit.

Definitely keep an eye out for the sign off the main road, it can be easy to miss! Also, the road to the farm is a bit rough. Once you get there, it's great though. Bring apples and carrots to feed the critters! There are goats, pigs, horses and cats. All rescues, and the volunteers who take care of them are amazing! They love to tell you everything about each animal! Definitely one of the best free activities around!
