Good morning there I am searching for the closes animal shelter nearby Porter, because I have 3 kittens that are meowing for their mom however I it was said two we're across the street the other one was doing the same somehow I was to get one of them come over and eat the food left for them and one did listen. anyway I don't know what happened to the mother cat still I can not take all 3 in because I already adopted a stray cat who's my baby for about a year. I deside it to try and catch all 3 and bring them in first and I will try to do that make an appointment if that's okay please. And I do not want them back one cat is enough for me. I'm hoping they will find a good home they are not baby size just small..

My wife and 8 year old grandson had a VERY RUDE interaction with this woman ( terry) in front of petsmart. They were in the parking lot trying to re-home 6 kittens we have cared for . She confronted them and proceeded to lecture them on the law stating it was illegal to do that there. And my grandson was holding one kitten and she snatched it out of his hand . And she took all six kittens away. She is a real piece of work when you can belittle and scare a 8 year old . 🤬 All I know is she REALLY needs to get a life . And quit being a bully to children! Fortunately for her my wife held her cool in front of our grandson. Do not trust her!

Great place to adopt from! Yes, they use pellets, but this DOES NOT cause any respiratory problems! Furthermore, all cats are wormed and appropriately vetted. If LOUD and OBNOXIOUS children come up to the cats, they will be politely asked to calm them down, for they DONT scare the cats. They adopt to families all the time! Not to mention they take in a lot of medical emergencies which cost them $1000's! This is a very caring non kill shelter that does amazing things every day for the cats!

This is the most awesome place. The lady running this shelter is amazing with the biggest heart I've ever seen. The animals at this shelter are very lucky to have her and we're lucky to know that there's someone out there willing and ready to help these animals. God bless you wags to whiskers

I have known Teri for several years and have fostered about 50 of her baby kittens. I can honestly say with out hesitation, Teri is very kind and takes very good care of her kitties. She knows them well, and goes out of her way to make sure they are happy, well adjusted and adoptable before even allowing them to be adopted. She does her best to find the right home for the right cat. Teri has spent thousands of dollars on vet bills for sick, injured and neglected cats. She pulls cats from 100 degree sheds, hoarded filthy homes, and places I would never even attempt to go! I could not praise her enough for a job well done!

Adopted 2 kittens from them at Petco. Was told they were healthy, but the lie detector test determined that was a lie. Already $1000 spent at the vet in attempt to get them well. Highly recommend NOT adopting from this rescue.
