Come visit! They are very informational, me and my wife asked many questions and they were very helpful. Of course you get to see the animals they are always excited to see people. Last I was there there were 2 beautiful husky dogs. Just a great place to visit in general.

I found a dog running down the road. I decided to check for a chip at the local shelter, sure enough there was one. I was a little disappointed, thinking this could be my dog if no one claims him... Well , as It turns out , I did get to keep my new furry friend , and I even got to know all the specifics on his life. They were looking to re-home him. So with help from the Animal Control Officer, she made it happen !!! Thank you Big Bear Animal Shelter 💙

2063 9th lane has two unlicensed dogs husky mixes shots not updated, and a puppy farm I believe, I hear yelps for help, it makes me so sad, if I have to be compliant, they do too.

Area for dogs has NO windows & is over heated, poor dog we saw had no water dish & was panting, we ourselves were uncomfortably hot in that depressing windowless gray room. Plus women working seemed to have no interest in giving us information on the dog. As usual, the humane is inhumane. Poor dogs. Please spare your dog of a shelter, use Craigslist first.
