Address is incorrect on Google. They didn't bother to tell me when I called to donate. Although I was intending to donate, I was not allowed to use their private restroom. They treat their office like it's a fortress so I will not be donating here, so I took my donation to another location. From the look of the neighborhood, this office and the city are failing the people.

The Miller house has been a blessing. I was scared and anxiety was very high felling doubtful They help me with better myself with chores and learning "Just do it" so things wouldn't get hectic when I found housing I'm so thankful for the staff for being there when things were too hectic. I hope the best going further and those who donated good and hot meals THANK YOU SO MUCH! Mrs Bernadette you are definitely God's angel 😇 😊❤️

The staff is so amazing and caring. As long as the residents clean up behind themselves or accountable and really do their 1 light duty chore, the house stays pretty clean. My husband and I have never been in a situation like this before and we are so grateful to the staff and community.

It's been a long time since I've been there and my ex-husband, our kids, & I had to stay there 2 times. The first time I was pregnant and the staff + other workers were awesome!! They were so understanding and helpful. I went into labor there and had to bring my baby bk there, cuz we had no where else to go. All the people that worked there and the people who were staying there did everything they could to help us and make the situation good and comfortable. They were all amazing!!! I really can't say it enough. We had never been to a shelter before, and we were surprised when we got there, it was really clean, they give u anything u need as long as they have it, sometimes if they don't have something & u really need it they'll try to get it for u or if it comes in donations they'll save it for u, there's more than enough food + they have a shopping list that u can put stuff on and if they can they'll get it. Ok, I'm gonna stop, cuz I'll go on 'n' on. Thank you everyone for everything u did for us and just being there to help!! We were there January 2010 and December 2012.

The Miller Community House is a homeless shelter like none other I've ever heard of. It's clean, quiet, and most importantly, safe. I was there for a little over a month due to a financial crisis. The staff were the most helpful, least judgmental people I've dealt with. They actively help the residents find suitable housing and employment. There is a community kitchen and a pantry that is very well stocked. One can eat what s/he wants whenever the kitchen is open (6am-8pm). The only rule is that you clean up after yourself. To me, that's not a lot to ask. Each resident is also required to do a daily chore, but none are hard. It only takes about 15 minutes to do. For what one can gain, the chore is nothing. They also were instrumental in my finding permanent housing. All in all, they made a low point in my life not only bearable, but enjoyable.
