Have had too many bad experiences with them. They are not Really concerned about your pet and are very quick to herd them in and out Even when the animal is still in need of their services not yours. But after each bad experience I have given them another chance and trusted them because the circumstances were different, the animal was different, etc. It was a big mistake and I'll never go back.
I love Mendocino Animal Hospital! The staff is kind and they take extra care to ensure we've been fully taken care of. My big dog is a *difficult patient* but MAH has really worked with us while many other clinics turned us away. I also love that the front staff is knowledgeable, you can call with a quick question and you don't always have to wait to speak with the doctor. I always recommend MAH ❤️
Wonder service and staff! Very pleased with how well and gentle they were with my very anxious scared and reactive dog!! Highly recommended! Great experience!
Had my first visit at the Mendocino animal hospital yesterday for an appointment I made a couple weeks prior for my cat Kiko to have her updated on vaccines and spayed. All the staff are very nice and friendly. They updated me very quickly when Kiko woke up from her spay and let me know she did good. I picked her up at 3:30pm and was told she did very well and there were no concerns after her spay. Vet technician provided me with detailed instructions for Kikos discharge and offered for me to call if I have any concerns at all. Brought Kiko home and she’s been doing wonderful. She acts just like herself and you wouldn’t even know she just had surgery the day before. Overall this was a positive experience for both my cat Kiko and myself. I will continue brining my animals here and so far I recommend the Mendocino animal hospital as a good and professional vet clinic. The pricing is also very reasonable compared to other vets.
i waited for an appointment and I brought my 3 dogs here. I thought I would be seeing one of the Vets on the website. The Vet we were assigned was not on the website, and not a regular Vet at their facility. I emailed all my dogs records but mysteriously they could not find them. Interesting since I could easily find the emails I sent them by searching. So I had to fill out everything again in their office. I paid for 3 office visits for my 3 dogs which were pathetically short, and I received 3 estimates. One for each dog. I decided not to return for the dental work since they didn't instill very much trust in me after what took place. I had to wait another month for my back up appointment I had made at a very reputable Vet. Hospital where I live in San Francisco. This place has been around for many decades and has a very good reputation. So after visiting the place in San Francisco, which was much more professional and initial visits were much more in depth, I was very surprised to see the estimates were hugely less in San Francisco. So I had my dogs taken care of there. I am perplexed as to why a Vet. Hospital in Ukiah is considerable more expensive than one in San Francisco, since expenses in San Francisco are so much higher.
Do not bring your pet here if they are ill or have an urgent need. They turned me away for being ten minutes late with the full knowledge of my dog having an appointment for a vital seizure medication. He will experience and has had grand mal seizures about ten hours after a missed dose. I stood at the desk sobbing and pleading for my little sweet dog o held in my arms. He had a small seizure literally I. The lobby. Expressionless face looked back at me and my little dog. His life didn’t matter and it didn’t matter that he could die. Told me to drive to Santa Rosa. I drove here from court Bragg. It took two hours due to severe weather. Every effort possible was made to get here and the ten minute delay a called ahead to tell them I would be meant refusal. 30 seconds past their clock ten minute mark means my dogs life is now potentially in danger. As a medical professional working with humans this would be a gross medical neglect to treat a patient this way for being ten minutes past their appointment time sadly my most precious companion doesn’t hold any value for and is treated like his life doesn’t matter. I’m completely traumatized and warn everyone to be very Leary of bringing any precious animal here. It was the vet Dr. Jagger spherically who refused to help my dog regardless of my crying and pleading to have compassion for my dog. My tears meant nothing. My dogs epilepsy meant nothing. This facility is appalling in their inhumane treatment. This is not a medical facility that knows how to acknoege a critical life threatening condition in an animal with an owner who was ten minutes late due to severe weather.
