I love this vet office! I have never been to one with a cat tree in the room. Our youngest Sage was in such a positive mood the whole time! Dr Shelton and Heather were so amazing to deal with. Will be back with all of my fur babies

Parkview Animal Wellness is by far the best vet that we have used. Our little Maltese, (Cody), was groomed yesterday, and the groomer put some kind of drops in his eyes that caused a bad reaction. I called Parkview Animal Wellness, and since he was getting worse, they got me in late in the afternoon. They spent so much time with him, that they ended up closing late. They were not in any kind of a hurry. Today, my little Cody is much better, thanks to Dr. Shelton and her staff. Not only did they help my Maltese, they helped a rescue that I was fostering last summer. This little rescued Maltese, (Angelina), was in terrible shape. She was severely neglected and emaciated. Dr. Shelton, and her staff, got her nice and healthy within 2 months. Today, Angelina is living a wonderful life with her new family. This is all thanks to Dr. Shelton and her staff, who were amazing.

Where to begin? They love their job and the services they provide. They have the absolute best patient care and go above and beyond to care for your furbaby. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Shelton and her amazing group of ladies who all have the patience, kindness, and tenderness of saints. They have earned my trust with their care for my sick baby girl and the gentleness with my big shy boy. Any people who will get in the floor and do belly rubs because they genuinely enjoy showering their animals with love is a place I want to go! I highly recommend this facility! You will not find better!!

I read the reviews of this veterinarian and wanted to give them a shot. I set up a 4 p.m. appointment to get my dog a rabies vaccine. I was told they would request her vet records from the previous vet. Before her appointment, I got a voicemail saying they weren't able to get her records and to call or text them back. I text back and told them the records were probably under my husband's name and they thanked me and said they would call the previous vet back. We showed up for our appointment 20 minutes early. As soon as we walked in, I was told they had questions for us and they said they couldn't get my dog's vet records. As soon as I mentioned that I had text them that they were under my husband's name, they suddenly remembered and called and had no issues. This problem should have been my first red flag. We then let them know that our dog is nervous around people she doesn't know. We were kept in the lobby for about 30 minutes and then brought back to a room. After meeting with the vet tech, we were told she was going to go get the shot ready and the doctor would be in soon. We then sat in the exam room, with a very anxious and nervous dog, for an additional 40 minutes before the vet tech came in the room and told us the doctor was "stuck in another room" and would be with us soon. At this point, we felt we had stressed our dog out enough and left. I have never scheduled an appointment with a vet and had to sit and wait like I did today. I couldn't be more disappointed. As a side note...while waiting in the lobby, I mentioned to the receptionist that I was interested in getting my youngest dog fixed. She told me she could get me a quote. She never did. We then mentioned it again to the vet tech and she said that the lady up front could get us a quote. Why couldn't either one of them tell us how much it cost???

There are no amount of words to describe how wonderful this place is! I scheduled all three of my furbabies for the same day and they did back to back appts for my dogs! They made everything seemless and so pleasant. I was alone at the appt with my toddler as well and they were so gracious and helpful to me at getting my dogs in and out of the appt seamlessly! They even came out to the truck to help me get all of them in there and allowed all my pets in the same appt room at once! They went over their charts with me and the cost of everything before they did their exams. It was my first time there as I just moved here with my family Florida. My experiences with vets in Florida were horrible, so I was very cautious of who I took them to. From the first phone call, where I asked tons of questions until the end, they never made me feel rushed! Dr. Shelton was so thorough and the vet tech Lily was kind and loved on my dogs like her own. Cass, who took all my calls was also wonderful. She explained everything well and put me at ease! Ms. Kathy helped bring my dogs inside and checked me out as well. She was so sweet and had such a warm smile to boot. You can tell everyone who works there loves animals and just want to please their clients. I highly recommend Parkview to anyone in search of a Vet office here in Scottsboro. They are the epitome of what true southern hospitality is!!
