Description Talega Animal Hospital is proud to offer both general medicine and urgent care into the evening. We work with our clients to make sure their pet gets what is needed, which can include emergency surgeries when specialty hospitals are cost-prohibited, routine spays/neuters, advanced dental procedures, and high level abdominal ultrasounds. We strive to be a one-stop shop with veterinary care, boarding, and grooming services also available. Dr. Fujita is preventative care wizz- helping to keep our pets healthy before they get sick. Dr. Snyder loves all things ultrasound and urgent/emergency care. We work collaboratively for your beloved pets.

Last night was my first time visiting Tallega Animal Hospital. A dog I had recently rescued from San Bernardino shelter, had severe kennel cough. Dr. Snyder was amazing to work with. She made the process easy and affordable. It was a very positive experience, during a not so positive situation. Prior to this visit, I was very loyal to another local vet, who I have come to realize, was not operating in my pets best interest. I am so happy that I found Talega Animal Hospital. This is my official new vet for all my pets needs.

Took my boy here today for the first time and they’re just awesome at this vet!! We will definitely be staying with them. And I really liked the doctors knowledge of bulldogs (not many know about those types of dogs). Everyone was super friendly and super helpful being that we can’t go inside with the pets right now. Major says thanks guys!! 🐶💕

Mr. Wilson went in for an Exam with Dr. Wood, she was awesome! She listened to our concerns and talked about options giving us more info, and not pushing on doing everything all at once! We all enjoyed our visit! The hospital was clean and staff was personable! We give it a 2 paws up!

When our Cocker Spaniel Brandon's condition worsened due to a stomach tumor Dr. Caitlin Snyder came to our house to compassionately assist Brandon's passing away to heaven.

Our cocker spaniel Brandon, had a large lump on his neck, and when he scratched his neck it would bleed. And his teeth needed a good cleaning. Our regular vet was retiring, so we found talega animal hospital, thank God we did!! Doctor Wood at the Talega animal hospital, did surgery removing the lump, and cleaned, removed some teeth. Dr Wood is by far the best vet Dr I've ever seen!!! Friendly, very personable, highly educated, and explains, and knows exactly what to do. Our Brandon is now 100% healthy and normal.THANK YOU DR WOOD!!!. GO to Talega animal hospital, and see DR WOOD, you will not be sorry!! Tom Robb.

We've been taking our dog here since she was a pup, and they've always taken good care of her and have shown her the same love we would. She recently had a minor surgery here, and all went well. They delivered expectations well, and did a good job of communicating during and after. As far as we can tell, she's recovering well and they took good care of her. Would recommend if you're looking for a vet!
