This sweet little soul is sitting at the Casey's gas station in Liberal Kansas. I fed him on tuesday. And on Friday I stopped again and he was still there. I asked the clerk why nobody has taken care of him. She responded with the Humane Society is trying to catch him but has not been successful. I'm sorry but he doesn't look like he's that hard to catch. He is such a sweet little soul and deserves a much better life than this. One of the employees said that the owners are not happy that customers are feeding and watering this little soul. SHAME ON YOU!! EVERY LIVING THING DESERVES FOOD & LOVE!! The world needs to do better!

Went in to adopt a female kitten. Was told by 1 of their "officers" and the manager Tara the kitten I had picked was female. He is not. Now I'm stuck with this grown male cat tearing up my house because they refuse to take it back without me paying a $20 surrender fee on top of the money I payed to rescue and fix for a cat that I didn't want in the 1st place. I would give 0 stars if possible. Will never waste my time with this shelter again.

Shelters beg and beg for people to adopt and help get dogs off the euthanasia list and empty their shelters but deny people when they try to do so. This shelter denied someone to adopt a dog that is currently on their euthanasia list saying this person lied to them when in fact this person was honest about having an unaltered male that he was going to breed with a FRIENDS DOG. not the shelter dog. he was actually going to get the shelter dog spayed asap. and this was properly stated to the shelter. but this poor dog will remain on their euth list and probably end up euthanized because of this shelter. such a shame.

Any animal shelter is better than none, but be aware: if you find a stray dog or cat, and try to do the right thing by taking them to the shelter, be aware they won't take out-of state animals without a health certificate. Now, how the heck you're supposed to do that when you're just traveling through, for stray dogs found shivering in the rain, is beyond me. But okay - since Liberal didn't want to help out-of-state strays, I decided not to give them any of my out-of-state money.

I called them and see if me and my husband can see the dogs and they said no and now my husband will make their Life's a Living hell
