Liberal Animal Control

It is not necessarily animal control I am upset with, but the Police that are abusing an animal. A Police Officer, injured the animal, placed it in a cage and left. AFTER 5 hours and FINALLY convincing the ever-so-smart Police Officers to let me go, I then discovered what had happened to the animal. I show up, 7am on a Sunday. The Animal Control staff were perfect. We both located the animal... I held back tears. The animal was bleeding and covered in its own waste!!!!! I had started driving from CA. with this animal to KS because it was abused by someone holding a torch to its face. The employee mention how common this is when the Police handle animals. I would post pictures as proof, but it was so horrible the animal didnt need to suffer another moment. So from one abuser to the Police abuser. How sad for such a lovely animal. I hope the policeman is investigated, because I have PLENTY to say. The Animal Control employee and I began tending, and cleaning the animal. Within a few minutes we were ready to still continue forward of "getting the hell outta here."
