Description Columbiana County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization. We are supported by donations and fundraising. We do not receive any money from the government. We respond to complaints of animals being abused, neglected, and abandoned, and hoarding cases. Cases include companion animals & farm animals, not wildlife (ODNR). Mission Operate as a county humane society serving Columbiana County, Ohio, pursuant to ORC §1717.05. Educate the general public on the purpose of the Columbiana County Humane Society. Promote humane principles and animal welfare. Employ a humane agent to enforce laws for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

We adopted Harley 4 years ago and she’s living her best life with her housemates. The adoption process was smooth and the staff were so nice and knowledgeable about every single animal. We are thinking of adopting again and will come back to this shelter for sure! Thank you for helping us find our forever pup!

I am very impressed with the columbiana county humane society this was my first experience with them. I filled out an application they checked my references called back and said I was approved. When would I like to come and see the dog. I gave them a day then I seen another dog on the website and I called and left the message and said I was interested in that dog also. 2 days before my meeting they called me and said that the original dog was adopted but the other dog I was interested in was still available. I took my dog we went down and had a meet and greet. Katie thought the meet and greet went rather well I was not so sure. Maverick came home with us and he's been a wonderful addition, he plays with his sister he eats he's very good. And then the humane society called me and told me they forgot to give me his medication he had an upper respiratory infection and I want him to finish up his antibiotics. I just think the people there are amazing and they do a wonderful job. I will definitely be my first place to go look for a pet again. Great job guys. Thank you so much

We got our perfect new baby kitten here. He is perfect. He came from a foster parent and had his shots, dewormed, and microchipped. They take very good care of their animals!!

I have had the PLEASURE of visiting and adopting my little girl from this wonderful Haven. They all absolutely treat and talk and care for these dogs as they were their own family! Rescued two lovely cats from there within a year timeframe. Both cats were taken very good care of, and are amazing pets to my family! Beautiful cats! They really train and take excellent care of the pets there while they’re there.
