Went to pick up a puppy! Stellar facility! Absolutely one of the most professional Service Dog facilities we've been to, and we transport from a lot of facilities as volunteer transporters.

Beautiful facility. In the application process. Will update later. Update. Had an extensive review of my reasons for needing a service dog. This application is very intense and thorough. The staph is easy to contact and is readily helpful throughout the process. They are kind and courteous. The written application takes a few months for them to respond as the demand is great and the resources are limited. Received and email for an interview. Got to meet one on one with five members of the interview group and a famous beautiful yellow lab named “Captain”. Everyone was kind warm and pleasant. The training facility is beautiful. Located north of Palmyra, PA. Fortunately I live within driving distance of this beautiful place. The interview was fun! We all had a great conversation about many topics. What I expected from a service dog. What was my typical day routine. And most importantly Captain was very well trained. He was very loving and happy to see me. I felt like we had been the best of friends forever in just a few short minutes. At the end of the interview Captain was glad to demonstrate how he could retrieve a cell phone off of the floor. He also demonstrated how he could open heavy metal doors so I could pass. I’m eager to learn how much more he can do! Today I received an email to meet with a teem to see how I respond to a service dog in public. This is scheduled for May. I’m excited. The teem wants me to have at least one support person with me. I am anxiously awaiting. I love dogs. I have always had dogs in my life. Few things in life make you happier.

They're terrible, they told me to double check the disability requirements when I was requesting to talk about the possibility of a service dog, I have PTSD, a long history of TBI, OCD, manic depressive disorder and an intraparenchymal hemmorhage/stroke. They said I need to recheck the requirements and they're not accepting forms this year anymore?? You'd think they'd have a decent reason why or they'd be able to direct me to somewhere else, I have doctors recommendations I just don't understand why they're so blunt and rude about responding to their customers. I didn't even get the word sorry back in the email, just get away basically. I can't believe them. I'm glad other people have had a positive experience but I'm not allowed to get a dog from them and I'd be hesitant to at this point anyway

They train service dogs. They have puppy petting for a small donation. You need to make reservations for the puppy petting. It is a lot fun.

Had my daughter on their waiting list for over 3 years. We did everything they asked - spent hours filling out forms and sending paperwork; made two day-long trips for interviews; and participated in CPEs. 2 weeks after they told us we were doing great and nearly there - I got an email that we were dropped because they were overextended. Whole family devastated, especially my disabled daughter. They didn't even have the decency to speak to us in person. Beware.

We're raising dog #3. Got involved because my daughter needed a hearing dog. Great organization. We're always looking for more puppy raisers.
