Just left the Chow Hound store. Really good shopping experience. Very friendly people, helpful but not pushy, smiling and pleasant and not overbearing. I was looking for a specific dog food (they have an excellent selection) but was hoping to get it in a smaller size for when we dog sit for our Grand-dog. They saw I was struggling to find what I was looking for and offered help and really understood the product and packaging options. Anything pet-related, I would definitely recommend stopping by Chow Hound in Grand Haven!

The staff here is friendly. They have a great selection and always have new cats up for adoption (they adopt out a lot of cats). The dog wash stations are some of the nicer ones you will use as well.

Employees are helpful and always nice. I like to take my my two large akita/ shepherd mixes here to groom because of the separated wash basis with doors. One can roam around the room while I'm bathing the other. Gets both grooms done in one trip.

Staff was friendly. When I asked for extra toppings I was met with a little attitude even though I understood it would need to be paid for . Food was sitting for awhile meat was tough and chewy. I really enjoy this establishment I only wish this past visit was a better experience.

I rescued a 7 week old puppy and had absolutely no idea what I was in for. I stopped at Chow Hound Pet Supplies on my way to get a load. Terrible with names, but I believe the young man said his name was Tim. He was extremely helpful in selecting a healthy diet, medicine, and training treats for my new travel buddy. Great selection and very knowledgeable. I greatly appreciate the experience and Jethro is happy, too.
