The staff was absolutely wonderful when I arrived with my dog at 1:30AM on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. The appointment took less than an hour, including X-rays and was VERY affordable. I had to drive from Fort Wayne when our Vet ER couldn’t see our dog. It was a stressful 90 minute drive, but I’m so glad I did it. These folks are great, and I HIGHLY recommend them!

I regret coming here. This place is not equipped like a 24 hour emergency hospital. It is more of a patch and go place. The veterinary staff were nice. If your pet has a serious condition that needs over night hospital stay....this is not the place. And they are not very good at explaining things. They are not very thorough. I suggest the one in Toledo on Douglas. I will never bring another of my pets here again. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. I lost my baby.

We unexpectedly had to put our senior girl down and our local vet no longer does after hours care. They recommended this Emergency vet center. They were kind and compassionate, and the fees are very reasonable, like what I would have paid at our local vet's office. Remains were promptly processed and ready for pick up.

I just moved to the area from out of state yesterday, which I even told the person on the phone. I've had dogs for my entire life, currently have 4. I know when something isn't right. I explained what's going on and she completely dismissed my concern and said that's not something they deal with. I pushed my concern again and once again dismissed. I said that I'm really concerned if this is what I'm going to have to deal with with having 4 dogs and 9 cats if I have an emergency. She hung up on me. She hung up on me!!! My mind is blown this is so upsetting. Even IF it ended up not being an emergency, I cannot believe a 24hr emergency vet would turn away someone without even seeing them first. If I knew who the persons name was that I spoke with, I'd have included it with my review. Just awful.

So unfortunately I have to give them 3 stars for our visit on Saturday the 6th. My pup Duke was vomiting profusely. No urine or stool output. Not eating or drinking and super lethargic. They didn’t even come out to the car to check if he was stable before making us wait 3 hours (in the car) to be seen. I even had to call and ask for a Parvo test to be done while we waited. They knew his symptoms and told me they would have to do one but then never came out. They also never got his temp which I thought was absolutely crazy with all his symptoms. One girl did try and then said the doc would but he never did. The doc also made sure to tell me multiple times he had to go to into emergency surgery which is totally understandable but on the phone the office told me that the doctor coming in at 8 would see me immediately because the other doc was going into surgery. Just a lot of miscommunication and confusing info & to not check and make sure a patient is stable before making them wait kind of blows my mind.

I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr.Urban tonight for a emergency concerning one of my rescue dogs. As the president of a local 501c3 we seen several vets on a weekly basis so we are well versed with what makes a good vet and Dr.Urban was nothing short of amazing. He was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure that this sweet boy got the care he deserved and is now thanks to Dr.Urban on the road to recovery. Special thanks to the amazing staff of vet techs as they all were kind and so accommodating. Couldn't recommend them more🩷
