My dog had something stuck in her paw. We arrived here at 8:05am on a Saturday. We stood in line for about an hour to check in/register. We were called to see the "doctor" at 10:50am. Pet owners cannot wait inside, so I dropped my dog off and waited in the car. I received a phone call two hours later saying "please come in for payment." I asked the lady what was done to my dog and what was I paying for, and she said it varies. My total was $99.50. After paying, she "discovered" what I was paying for. It was prescriptions along with a $35 office visit fee. The vet tech then told me that there was no thorn in my dog's paw and the medicine I was forced to purchase was for "just in case." My dog dog not need the medicine and this is how they squeeze you for money, very unethical. If there's an emergency, this is a good option, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend. The employees are dismissive, and don't have any customer service training.

This place is a godsend. Yes they are not fast, but they are a LOW COST and HIGH VOLUME service. So come early, be respectful, and understand what this is. The people here were incredibly kind and helped my dog when he needed help most, and I will always appreciate the service they were able to deliver with compassion. Thank you!

I adopted my first cat ever on 8/1/24. The adoption process was easy and affordable. My cat is 10 months old and has been at the shelter since she was a kitten. She is vaccinated, spayed and chipped and cost $90 to adopt her. She’s been a wonderful cat! Highly recommend for adoptions!

they offer low-cost services, but the experience was frustrating due to long wait times. I had to wait over 2 1/2 hours for a shot, which is unacceptable. While the affordability is a plus, the clinic really needs to improve its management and efficiency to avoid such long delays. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and the process felt disorganized. It's frustrating to spend so much time waiting, especially when you're there for a simple procedure. I hope they can address these issues to make the experience more efficient and patient-friendly

I adopted a dog from here. I was told he was about 2 years old with no health issues. I had purposely inquired about health issues because I just had a dog pass away after 16 years and that dog had luxating patella and CHF. Walter assured me they don't adopt out dogs with any health issues and proceeded to name a few examples. Well, I took the dog to my family vet for an exam within a week of adopting him. The vet said the dog was between 3-5 years old and then to my shock said BOTH kneecaps on the dog were very loose and wobbly. So, basically, there is a high likelihood of the dog developing luxating patella which requires a costly surgery to fix. It gets worse. Not only was the AWF dishonest about the dog's age and condition, they handed him over with a mouthful of dirty, tartar filled teeth. They could have at least cleaned his teeth before adopting him out. That's not a big deal. That comes with the territory with little dogs but it's just one more thing this place didn't take care of. You are not allowed to go back where the dogs are and it smells AWFUL in there. I had to give the dog 2 baths to get the smell out of his fur. They keep the dogs in confined cages, with multiple dogs per regular size crate. I have a picture they sent me as proof. The place is smelly and dirty. Not to mention their vets must not be top notch because they missed the loose kneecaps and got the age all wrong. I did end up returning the dog because it wasn't what I signed up for and I had just lost a dog that had lots of health issues. Normally, I take care of whatever my dog needs as it comes down the line. But I'm not going to start out knowing there are issues and being lied to. Just sad the dogs pay the price for the lies AWF tells just to get the dogs adopted.
