The AERC staff are always kind, patient and willing to do what it takes to care for a pet. They really helped ease my nerves when my dog was going through some health problems. I am glad that I have this vet to go to during emergency situations. Their neurologist/neurology department is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and they were able to answer every question I had regarding my dogs medical condition.

Although no one ever wants to be in a situation where you have to bring your animal in to the ER, this is the best place to bring your animal. The staff is so kind, helpful, and welcoming. All of the staff members we interacted with took time to get to know my dog and make her feel welcomed and safe. They were very accommodating for my dog's high anxiety and did everything they could to calm her down. They were very upfront about cost and did a great job of keeping me updated about pricing throughout the exam. The entire staff made sure all of our questions were answered, and they even sent us home with really helpful instructions and medications. The staff even offered to help bring stuff out to my car (as I was on crutches). I highly recommend the AERC for all of your animal emergency needs!

After driving 8 hours through the night my dog was taken in immediately and care was given based on the little information the doctors had with missing paperwork. I never felt like my dog was not well cared for and I was able to visit him, within reason, every time I asked. Not only did they save his life they made me feel like this was a normal Tuesday for them. Very professional and very adequate care.

My dog was recently diagnosed with oral melanoma. Everyone we have talked to and met with were very kind and professional. All of the financial options as well as what to expect from the appointment were sent in an email so we knew how to plan before we got there. They have been very communicative and informative. Even though we weren’t able to do all of the diagnostics the day of our consultation, they were able to get us in within a couple days to get it done.

Thank goodness we have such an awesome place for emergencies so close to us. The care is wonderful and specialists are amazing. Dr. Vakari performed a complex procedure on our cat who fractured his jaw in multiple places. Though it has been stressful and we still have 30+ days of recovery including daily feeding through a tube in his neck, they saved his life and the price though very costly, it is a business and the work done to save his life was so appreciated! Additionally , the ongoing support to our every need from the dental staff to the pharmacy, to those at the front and back have always willing to go above and beyond. Our regular Vet, who is amazing and refers all after hours and complex emergencies to Animal Referral and Hospital said the work that was done was impressive . Having such validation was speaks volumes, but actually experiencing it is a whole other story. Thanks to all who serve our fur babies!

This is our 2nd experience with AERC. Our long time vet said, "they are the best" and I tend to agree. From the first call, to the front desk greeting, the vet techs, vets, treatment coordinators, the daily calls, photos...so much attention to detail all with compassion and kindness. They seem to love our pets as much as we do and know how stressful it is to leave them behind. The vets all take their time, never seem rushed and are happy to answer ALL questions. You saved our Mulder's life last spring and this weekend made his tummy feel better. I recommend AERC to everyone!! Thank you for all that you do!
