Description At Homey Gnome Veterinary Clinic, our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized care to our clients and their animals. We value the importance of the human-animal bond and treat all patients as family members. We provide care to dogs and cats, as well as exotic animals including rabbits, small mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Our goal is to focus on the complete wellbeing of pets and offer a variety of preventative care services such as wellbeing visits, surgical services, and dental surgery.

I have taken a variety of reptiles to almost every exotics vet in the Twin Cities area, and I will never go anywhere else. They are helpful, knowledgeable, non judgemental, they go above and beyond and they caught a bacterial infection in one of my bearded dragons that her original vet dismissed - and identified that she's a male, not a female, which she helpfully confirmed several months later. They're thorough and really emphasize husbandry practices that will lead to a scaly baby's best life.

A very gnomie place to come too. Inviting atmosphere and people who are passionate about pets. Prices were reasonable and the staff didn't make us feel pressured with its service options regarding spay and neutering.

Thank you for the wonderful and compassionate care you gave to us and our Guinea pig Sadie. Dr. Plantz and staff provided us with a treatment plan and explained that Sadie's issues were manageable. Sadie is doing wonderful on her new treatment plan and is eating and has normal activity level! Thank you for excellent care for our family! So this is an update to my review- I can't begin to express my heartfelt graditude to Dr. Plantz, Dr. Planko and Dr. Springer and the rest of the staff at Homey Gnome Veterinary Clinic. We have been coming to Homey Gnome for over 3 years now. The staff and Drs have seen us through some pretty rough times. The level of compassion and care is unrivaled any where. We are so greatful and truly consider you part of our family, I mean herd 😊. We are especially grateful for helping us understand the best course of action with Toast and of course Sadie 2 years earlier.

I’m so impressed with Homey Gnome vet clinic! I got referred when I adopted a rescue bearded dragon from Snake Discovery and can’t believe I didn’t know about them before since they are only 10 minutes from my house. Absolutely Amazing! They always get me in right away, take the time to answer questions, show care and compassion for my pets. Definitely the best exotic vet I’ve ever had and very knowledgeable going above and beyond to ensure proper care. Always get back to my emails and dealing with this crazy bearded dragon mom! Shout out to vet tech Krystal for her attention to detail and willingness to support my scaly pets.
