I looked into getting a support companion pet/animal for someone special in my life. While saving my loved one from a horrible time in her life I decided to save anothers So I started to call around to several animal shelters and adoption agencies only to find Miss Lovable. At 8 years old this Gem was in the rough. Turns out that we turned my love one's life for the better and out of trouble and found out Miss Lovable was for me all along. Needing them both as support in my life's current challenges was the best thing I could have ever asked for... Adopted just about a week ago. Thank you my Bloomington friends

Very responsive to our concerns. Was walking my two terriers near Bryant Park when we were attacked by a loose dog that came from a yard on 85th and Girard. Called BAC, left message and they contacted us, got all the details of incident and dispatched an animal control officer to the offending owner's house. Haven't had a problem in that vicinity since. Thank you BAC.

Well they picked my Belgian up and held him thru the deep freeze the other night and he was no worse for ware when I picked him up. The officers treated him well even though he not the one that picked him up. They treat em good

While walking on a trail will you came across a baby squirrel, and after calling Animal Control we were referred to this location. We brought it to them and the transfer was seamless thanks to the kind and courteous staff that were there to help. We could tell they clearly love the animals they care for and are happy to have helped them in the rescue process.

I'm so glad the kind city workers were able to help! I had feral kitties whose mom was hit by a car. They loaned me a couple of quality traps. Then they took in the poor cuties. They are helping to give them a chance to get into loving homes. I'm glad my taxes enable this. (thanks Democrats, for wanting services)

Staff is extremely nice and helpful, but keep in mind if you are looking for a lost pet they don't post pictures online unless they are up for adoption after 7 days of holding or the shelter is full. Also, there's a lot of lost pet forms so I wouldn't rely on them to check every single one and contact you every time they get a stray.
