I have been volunteering at this avian sanctuary for a month, and it has been an incredible experience. The dedication and compassion they have for these parrots are truly heartwarming. In just a short time, I have learned so much from volunteering here. Compared to other non-profits I have worked with, this sanctuary stands out as the most genuine and proactive in fulfilling its mission. Their actions speak louder than words, and it shows in everything they do.

Amazing people and a spectacular place for our feathered friends. If you get a chance to take a tour, please do. Feeding and caring for all the birds is expensive so be sure to donate something when you visit.

The best facility. I have boarded my bird when traveling in the past and was extremely satisfied. All around top notch facility, I highly recommend. Kim Hannah is an amazing person and I am very thankful for all her thoughtful work and compassion for our feathered friends.

I am very pleased with Kim and her dedication to placing her rescues and surrendered birds in good homes. She is amazing, knowledgeable, and knows what is necessary to make a good fit. I love my Grey. I highly recommend anyone considering acquiring a bird to take the time to fill out the proper application and speak with Kim. It takes a little longer than going to a breeder but her process avoids further rescues and surrenders. 💓

EAST is an unknown gem in Middle Tennessee! The tour was great & being able to interact with the birds was a unique experience; I can't recommend enough! I would recommend bringing ear plugs if visiting, the birds can be loud.

This is an excellent parrot rescue and sanctuary. Their birds recieve the highest standard of care and are kept very clean with fresh food and water provided multiples times a day. They also provide valuable educational resources to the community, boarding, reuniting stray birds with their families, and find loving homes for birds as well as provide sanctuary for many others.
