I've not adopted from Wags, but I foster frequently through them. The support they provide to their fosters is amazing! There is both a foster coordinator & medical team text line you can send any questions/concerns to, and always receive a prompt reply. They do check-ins, offer advice, training, etc. They supply everything - crates, food, toys, leashes, etc. Truly make fostering such a seamless process & I highly recommend others to consider fostering through them! Again, I have not adopted through them, so I can't comment on that - but based on the info I've been asked to provide about my fosters, I can confirm the pups are all very much vetted prior to being adopted out.

This rescue has changed our lives in the most incredible way. We’ve had the amazing privilege of fostering 14 dogs with Wags and Walks Nashville, and attending dozens of events. Every person in this organization cares about dogs and fosters. Their process makes it so easy to save a life. They take in dogs at risk of euthanasia due to breed or condition and give them a second and loving chance at life. The director and assistant director continue to impress me every day with their drive and determination to save as many dogs as possible. I highly recommend fostering or volunteering with them.

We foster failed and adopted our pup, Lulu, through Wags & Walks Nashville in March of 2020 and have also fostered several other dogs with them since. We don’t have as much time to foster anymore, but we remain members of the Pup Club (monthly donations) because we love Wags & Walks so much! We even had a “puppy party” with adoptable puppies from Wags & Walks at our wedding reception! This rescue is a group of incredible people who do anything and everything they can to help save as many dogs as possible. If you’re looking for a rescue to adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate, you can’t go wrong with Wags & Walks Nashville!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Wags team! I've been fostering with them for a couple years now and it's been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. I'm so appreciative of the opportunity to be a small part of all of the amazing work they do. Wags and Walks is an amazing organization that genuinely cares about finding the perfect fit for the dogs they rescue. We fostered many dogs with them before adopting our sweet Fern! Couldn’t imagine life without her. Would recommend Wags and Walks to anyone looking to add a pup to their family!
