Tuesday night June 4th started as a great quickly turned into an overwhelming and terrifying next day. my dog went into labor, delivering 5 beautiful pups but after the 5th puppy delivered, she stopped pushing out the rest. i knew there were more simply based on the size of her stomach and after hours of waiting i did a simple check myself and felt a puppy inside. worried and concerned that she wasn’t pushing them out herself i brought her to Medvet to see what was going on. there i was told that she had 5 puppies still inside, but unfortunately they did not see any heartbeats for them. i was then told that she wouldn’t be able to deliver them by herself therefore she needed to have a c-section to get them out. devastated i agreed to it, but could not do it at that location. i was then referred to northlake vet hospital where i was greeted with such comfort and grace the minute i walked in the doors. each staff member answered every question i had and genuinely showed that they cared about the situation i was in, along with my dog. they took the time to walk me through the whole process of every that that was going to happen and when they did another ultrasound on my dog, they realized that some of the puppies were actually still alive inside. they took great care of my dog when back there and were able to save 2 of the 5 puppies still inside! Dr. Galjour and Dr. Leonard went above and beyond for us and i can’t thank them enough for being so good to my dog and her puppies. 2 of the techs that were there also during surgery were so helpful and caring asking questions and answering all of mine! I can’t say enough about them all and how thankful i am for them being able to help me! I would recommend them and this hospital to anyone that needs care for their dogs!!

Dr. Jessica was absolutely phenomenal with the whole process of our in-home euthanasia for my sweet boy. Her communication over the phone with the whole process, to getting my the medication needed before her arrival, to her bedside manner once she arrived was nothing less than impeccable. I know my sweet Whiskey Roux isn’t stressed anymore. Thank you Dr Jessica from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for caring for him in his last moments with me and my wife.

I brought my newly acquired dog in today. She just lost her owner and is very unsocialized. I have tried and failed several times to get her into another office. Northlake was amazing, helping me get her in the building by having a room ready. Dr. Abby and her staff were so patient and so kind. I cannot thank you all enough for helping my Tia on her new life journey.

My 14 year old dog, Kali, recently declined quickly and we needed an after hours vet to help her cross the bridge. Dr. Linn was there the night we came in. I could not have asked for a more compassionate and caring doctor to help my best friend gain her wings.

I came in with my dog who needed a c- section, had a limited price point. They were kind, understanding, they worked with me the best as they could and i forever appreciate the kindness the staff showed when I was in distress. They delivered my dogs puppies safe and sound and everybody came out perfect. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Dr. Linn, she was absolutely amazing! She cared for my dog Naomi and I would love to show my appreciation for her.

I have been bringing my two dogs to Northlake for a little over three years now to see Dr. Mallory Linn. I am an anxious pet parent and Mallory always comes to the rescue for any insane questions I throw her way (most the time I am over reacting). My dogs are also very anxious and there is no one else I would trust with their care like I trust Mallory. She's really the most compassionate, honest, and wonderful vet!
