All Creatures Animal Hospital of Folsom, CA is amazing. They have taken care of my rabbit and dog. The staff is so kind, warm, and caring to my pets. They took time and patience to help me with the most difficult decision to send my Cocoa over the rainbow bridge. The vet made the heartbreaking process so much easier by talking to me about my decision and explaining the entire process. The fees were less than other animal hospitals! We received a card, a beautiful cremains box with a paw print and hair clipping. Thank you!

My husband and I visited All Creatures with our pet rat, Telly, who was in severe respiratory distress. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by friendly and professional staff who put us at ease as much as possible and immediately began the intake process. While we were filling out the forms a vet tech took our Telly to the back to give him oxygen. Our boy was just about 2 at the time, which is a hard place to be with a pet rat. The vet, Dr. Natalie, saw us very quickly. She was very warm and good-hearted. She gave us all our options and didn’t pressure us. We ultimately decided to have our boy put to sleep. All the staff were wonderful. Our vet tech was so sweet and sympathetic. We appreciated that so much. All Creatures also sent us a sympathy card signed by their staff. It was very touching and greatly appreciated. If we are ever in an emergency situation again, we will definitely return to All Creatures. Highly recommended.

I took my dog to All Creatures Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Stockton because she was leaking urine and fresh red blood out of her female parts. She was diagnosed with a bunch of bladder stones that could and would plug her up and possibly cause bladder rupture. I paid the rest of the what ended up being $3150 as they requested before they'd do the surgery and I asked if that would cover everything as I had $11 left to my name and had gotten a loan from my family for 1k to afford the remaining amount to save her life. They said yes. I picked her up at 8am as they told me and they then asked for several hundred more. I insisted repeatedly that I had not another dime more and they finally gave up. They handed her to me with an IV line in her leg and told me I had to take her to my regular vet to have an IV bag as she needed to be "flushed out" according to Dr. Sarah Cadwell...the treating vet for my dog that night. I was not told this would be a need prior to surgery- they spring it on me at the last minute. Now my vet is always booked at least a week out and as I only had $11 to my name I had no more money to even pay my regular vet to keep her a day and give her IV fluids. Also my car had broken down when I went to use it to bring my dog for emergency treatment and had to get a ride, I had a ride home and no more at that moment. I couldn't take her anywhere but home. At that point I just wanted to run with her for our lives from this place, so that is what I did. I removed the IV line when I got home and pushed fluids by hand. This potentially saved her life. The following late morning she was plugged up again HARD. She had been leaking urine after the surgery which I felt was normal but that had stopped. She tried to urinate over and over with great urgency but nothing came out. I became positive that she was blocked and I called this place to check her as something was wrong with the surgery they'd done. They cheerily said that I was welcome to bring her back and wait to be seen for all brand new fees and costs to see what was wrong. I was frantic and sobbing...my dog was on the verge of dying and I didn't know what to do. Out of desperation I tried to find her urethra through her skin behind her female parts and see if massaging very gently would help in some way. It was a miracle that it did. Suddenly urine gushed out of her like a hose turned on full, twice the amount that I'd expect out of a rotty after waiting 8 hours. I don't know how she didn't rupture- especially with that fresh incision in her bladder. When the flow stopped I lifted her tail to dry it with a towel as she laid there looking stunned, to find a 1/2" bladder stone laying there. This happened again with another 1/2" bladder stone at day 6 after the surgery, right before I was able to get her into my regular vet. It happened several more times with smaller stones over the course of my vet's treatment. Imagine the agony my poor dog went through each and every time- Imagine YOU having to pass a marble through your parts and realize that you are two to three times her size. Imagine the infection risk. My dog has been under continuous vet care since .....about 9 months now, to do what this clinic was supposed to have done...gotten rid of all the stones. She STILL has a small number of stones left that my vet has determined have to be removed with surgery and can't be gotten any other way and until they are gone there is the threat of them growing big enough to put her life in danger. Again. And worse, surgery on the bladder can end up causing MORE stones to form in time. Did I mention that my dog is a legal individually trained, task trained service dog and I am disabled. Yeah. It took me years to save up what I paid them that night and haven't been able to replenish enough yet for another surgery. And I'm still NOT ok with what this all did to me. I've reported to the California Veterinary Board and I am fully invested in going legal with this to get repayment for everything that has occurred. Take your animal anywhere else but here.

I had a bunny in severe stress that had barely ate and not pooped in almost 24 hours. I was panicked as I just moved here and didn’t have a vet figured out yet. Luckily we called around and Izzy from the front desk was wonderful and said to bring Barry in right away. I had been giving Barry critical care at home but he was still clearly in pain and had some bloating. Dr. Newton saw him and gave him fluids and pain medicine and knew what she was talking about. We all knew it was mild GI stasis and they only recommended absolutely necessary treatments. I also had his bonded partner Bo seen as well since he was eating but not pooping. Both are doing great now and I’m so thankful for their care and kindness and for Rosalinda for emailing me and checking in on them. Big recommend to all bunny owners in an emergency! Very inexpensive as well. Thank you so much for helping my Barry! You are so knowledgeable and kind and I’m forever grateful.

We took our very beloved chihuahua in a few weeks ago after he was attacked by our German Shepherd by the neck. He was in very rough shape and I wasn’t sure he was gonna survive. Everyone at All Creatures were super nice and comforting. Dr LaRue was the absolute best DVM ever. She genuinely cared for our pup and did everything in her power to help him get the care he needed. She worked with our budget the best she could and our pup was in great hands! She 100% saved his life and he is now completely back to his old self! I am forever grateful!

My fiancé and I had to take our chihuahua in for respiratory distress at around 9pm, the vet staff took him back right away to put him on oxygen and got us into a room very quickly. The staff was so informative and told us exactly what they were doing every step of the way. We had a very tight budget and they were willing to work with us to do what needed to be done. Unfortunately we had to put our boy to sleep, which was not the outcome any of us anticipated. The vet tech and veterinarian were so sweet and supportive throughout the entire process and explained everything as it was happening. I have honestly never felt so much love from a vet clinic as I have in this one. They helped put our boy to rest in the most dignified way possible and the vet tech really went above and beyond for us. She made a very difficult, painful night bearable. I would highly recommend going here for your emergency needs. Rest in peace to our little guy. 💔
