They do have a process and waiting list to get in. Everyone is given a covid test before entering the main building from the foyer of the building. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Manager is really busy so it's hard to get a hold of her, but she does make appearances and talks to the clients.

Staff are awesome they do not judge. They are very professional about their jobs. Giving a 5 star to staff but mangers on the other hand tend to pick and chose who they want to help or just see us as numbers.

I was in the parking lot watching a very glib, cheeky, passive-aggressive manager pestering a client outside using her position for the reason at this location. It was very scary considering how she was the opposite of helping keep a safe feeling environment for people with nothing to stand on of their own. Instead of de-escalating she was being a bully; twisting her neck with attitude and curling her lips at him. Then, to anyone and everyone's surprise, who could have been listening, asked HIM why he was "upset," when she was the one causing an upsetting scenario. She did try to get understanding in the middle of her own charade, but even the other worker had to de-escalate the managers tirade by suggesting that the client was in fact not as mad or frustrated as she was gaslighting him to be. He kept walking away but she was never satisfied with the level of calm he tried to keep. We are at the bottom of the food chain, money wise, mental health wise, and emotionally wise. Please be cautious. And please try to be more humane, Pillars. I hope in the future people don't have to hesitate or be scared to use your services- I've seen a HUGE abuse of power at both locations now.. Thankfully I know after YEARS they finally cycled out the rotten ones at the family shelter- who get mad at people who call CPS after witnessing a belting, neglect, and emotional abuse. They let someine stay after admitting to cutting off my hair (which is a level of assault.) You cannot hide the power hunger in these types of places- but the people who are supposed to feel supported actually feel suppressed and traumatized from, and are never heard or talked to as if it will ever change. It needs to be evaluated and cared more about. Thank you.
