I was blessed to adopt a sweet girl, 1 year old shepherd mix. The staff was nice, informative, kind and good with the animals. The adoption fee is very reasonable. And the goody bag was wonderful. Be knowledgeable of all rights and responsibilities of adoptive family. Please save a shelter pet. They are the most loyal for your love and care. Animals are awesome. Loving my new fur baby 💝

All employees were kind and accommodating. Every animal was very healthy and the staff can tell you all about each individual pet. Very clean and no "kennel smell".

This was my first time at the animal control. I brought in a donation for the dogs and cats. I had a great welcome when I walked in and a great thank you for the donations. I hope the dogs and cats enjoy their new stuff!

Very good experience. The staff was very helpful in assisting us in selecting the cat we were wanted. They do not always get the thanks for the good job that they do.

This is by far one of the cleanest shelters I have ever visited before. The dogs and cats available for adoption are very well cared for and the prices are reasonable considering everything that is included. I adopted a dog from them and was very pleased with my experience. We absolutely love her and I couldn't have asked for a better addition to my family. Rebecca has always been very helpful every time I have needed it and their newest addition, Heather, is just as great. It will be a sad day for animals and the community in Sumner County if either of these wonderful ladies ever leave Animal Control. Keep up the great work!

I love how every time I've come in here to animal control, you can just tell that the officers who work there, even the interns, spend so much time with the animals. They can tell you the story and specifics of almost any animal they have. They can tell you how they like to play and how they like to be petted best. Officer Heather was so sweet and understanding when we were there. It's the first place we look for a new pet now!
