Have a feral cat that won't go away and has scratched me twice. Spent two weeks trying to trap it but cat is too smart. Won't go inside the trap. Other than leaving a trap for you, animal control doesn't do anything. Don't understand their purpose.

They'll have the dogs in cages with pee. I picked up my dog and i took him to pee it took 3 whole minutes like he was holding it all morning. He smelled so bad and was only there for a night! I had given him a bath two days before. He didnt bite a person but he played rough with a neighbors dog, due to a learned behavior from another neighbor's dogs that had attacked a turtle in front of my dog behind a see through fence. (Yes, i need help with training him to understand not all small things are toys, would anyone be able to help pay for the bill?) Another concern about the shelter is with the behavior of some of the people who work there, shouldn't they have experience? If the dogs cage is being opened, shouldn't everyone remain calm and NOT scream RUN with an anxious tone??? Isnt that the opposite of handling dogs that dont know you? Everyone who works with animals should have taken some type of educational course on how to manage the energy around the dog right? Just curious if theses are genuine things of concern? Or am i just tripping?

Called about a feral/stray cat problem. Was told Animal Control doesn’t do anything with cats because they’re so overpopulated the shelters won’t take them. So, Animal Control won’t even try to control the out of control animals? Sad. Was told to trap them myself and take them to be spayed or neutered. Local government not working for a solution. Again, sad.

Amazing group of people!! Had an emergency with our large breed dog who had injured himself, and already having bone cancer, was behaving aggressively so we weren't able to get him to move, the supervisor came with help and between the two did a wonderful job getting our dog into the car so we can get him medical care. So very thankful!! Hoping we can find a way to repay them!!

I had a large rattlesnake in my yard. I called Animal Control and they came right away. The gentleman was very Kind and Caring. Also the operator that took my call was Very Kind and Considerate. She directed me to the right person in order to resolve the issue. Thank You Animal Control!
