I consulted Dr. V at Noble West Vet Clinic with my treasured 11-year-old lab a year ago, and it was heartbreaking to discover she had a pyometra after just one set of X-rays. Dr. V's immediate recommendation (and strong suggestion) to euthanize her left me devastated, especially considering my background in healthcare and my commitment to always choosing the most compassionate options for my pets. The interaction felt distant, with only a brief conversation before a vet tech discussed euthanasia options, yet it seemed premature, as they didn't have all the details to make such a permanent decision. It became apparent that I couldn't fully trust their judgment, as they may not have been equipped to assess situations accurately. Fortunately, I followed my instincts and sought a second opinion from Jansen Veterinary Clinic. The new vet conducted a compassionate and thorough assessment using ultrasound, obtaining a clearer set of x-rays after acknowledging the previous ones were unclear. They took the time to walk me through every detail. Today, with my 12-year-old lab healthy and content by my side, I'm profoundly thankful for that decision. Jansen Vet Clinic competently performed a successful and what they considered a routine operation, allowing my beloved pet to thrive. I cannot stress enough the lack of compassion I felt that day, especially as a person who has seen many vets in several states over the years due to our professions. If I had listened to Dr. V (but mostly her vet tech, since she didn’t care enough to come back in), I would not be snuggling with my girl today. I cannot recommend Jansen Vet Clinic enough because if not for the care and compassion they showed not only Hattie but myself, I would not be writing this today.

My 15 year old King Shepherd, Xavier, started feeling a lot of issues walking. His usual vet was no use as they had no openings until September. I called them on a Wednesday and they listened to what was happening and got me in that day. We arrived and didn’t have to wait at all. They got us into a room and we started going over what was happening. Dr. K was wonderful and thought about him and not how much money I would be willing to spend. Unfortunately with Xavier’s age and issues, they explained that they would definitely do whatever I wanted them to do, but it would only work for a few days or weeks. That his age and being as big as he was, I should think about him. We made the hard decision and the vet and techs were wonderful. They let me have time with him and then when the time came they were very understanding of how hard and emotional it was. They let me sit with him and grieve for him. On Friday, I took my other dog in for itching issues and they were still the same lovely people as they had been on Wednesday. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Very first time I went, really expected what i thought I would as a first time client at the vet. My rabbit was taken care of for a regular check up and came to find out the right gender lol. They have really nice people here and gave me the right guidance as to taking care of my rabbit. Doctor & her assistant were so generous!

Dr Usha and staff are caring and she always has helpful tips for administering meds to my pet and creative ways to care for her when we arrive home. They have weekend hours and the staff are comprehensive and well versed. She has treated our pup for numerous health problems as she is aging.
