I was skeptical about this clinic with all the 1star and also don't really write reviews on stuff. But on Wednesday day before Thanksgiving I had to rush my dog Hercules into emergency and we had to put him down due to cancer. I can’t thank animal Am of Pasadena enough for the kindness and care they showed my dog and my family during such a heartbreaking moment. The staff was incredibly gentle and understanding, ensuring my dog’s last moments were peaceful and filled with love. They explained the process with such compassion, allowing us to say goodbye in the most meaningful way. I truly felt supported during one of the hardest days of my life.

I had a family friend tell me about this place where she took her dogs. She told me she had her dogs cremated there. Well my sweet Rusty who I have had for almost 18 years had passed away unexpectedly. I was in a state of shock so my family friend told me to call them. When I called I told the receptionist my situation that my cat just had passed away and if it was possible to have her cremated with them, she told me absolutely. I told her my fiance would be bringing her. When he got there she already had the papers to fill out ready for him to sign. The price was affordable. They went above and beyond our expectations. Not only did I get her ashes in a beautiful wood box but it came with a plaque of my cats name on top. Also got a certificate when she was cremated from an outside agency they work with. And last not least seeds forget me not flowers to plant in her memory. Exactly 3 weeks later I got a letter from them saying condolences. Most definitely recommend them. Whenever my family and I decide to get an animal we will be coming here to get them help. Thank you so much!

I called to inquire about how much it would cost to bring my dog in as a new client. I asked the girl at the front desk why there were people protesting outside and if I should be concerned about anything? She immediately replied I can go somewhere else if I want to in a very rude tone. I tried to assure her I was asking because I was confused by what was happening outside. She remained rude and clearly did not want my business. To be honest I feel like I dodged a bullet because it really did not make sense why she had such a bad attitude. Our pets deserve to be surrounded by kind and honest people and that is not the vibe she gave me. Good luck with this place. I’ll avoid it like the plague!

I am disappointed by them, will never go there again. I had 2 good experience with them, so I went there because my dog had a pain issue. The visit was quick in and out. The med injected was a waste of time and money and so were the 4 tablets prescribed. I tried calling to speak to a doc and ask why the dog's situation didn't improve wnd why was he lethargic. The person answering the phone brushed me off asking me to come back. I took my dog right away to my own vet and lo and behold all was taken care of and he's on the mend. I really don't know what to say. Why did u prescribe my do nausea and vomit med when all he had none of those symptoms. Just pain and tense muscles. I thank u for having helped us twice in the past with loose stool diarrhea but nope will never come to this facility again

We go here for Dog needs. Got flea medication for our dog here. Got home and gave my dog medication and my dog got jacked up. Freaking out paranoid shaking, loss use of back legs. OMG. Our dog is messed up. Called them and explained what was going on. The girl said "sorry, we are busy. Try downtown Los Angeles " My dog if f'd up from flea pill they sold us. They didn't give a darn. They didn't know what to say to remedy the situation. They immediately said try downtown L.A. what!? I'm in Pasadena, they are an animal emergency clinic open 24hrs. They can't help me. They didn't even advise me what to do in this case. They absolutely $uk! Turns out, if the dog has a reaction to medication it will wear off in 30 to 40 minutes and discontinue use. Checked GOOGLE. THNX GOOGLE. This animal hospital did me dirty. They should know what to say to the client if there are bad reactions. Go to downtown los angeles? WOW. REALLY? AM You did me dirty. In an emergency the emergency clinic didn't know how to handle a bad reaction phone call to there own client. They didn't seem to care. First impulse is send me to downtown Los Angeles. I just can't believe it. Really can't believe it.

BEWARE!!!! I took my dog Molly to get a recheck of her blood work and a vaccine at Animal AM-Emergency Clinic. She walked from my car, through the parking lot, up the stairs, and into the lobby where a vet tech took her from me. She was walking fine. She came out unable to walk, covered in urine, and needed a stretcher. This is just the start of the traumatizing month Molly and I went through after our visit to AAECP. She went into VCA for treatment that night and died there less than a month later. This entire situation was entirely avoidable. My greatest fear is that this has happened to someone else, or that it will happen to someone again. I have records documenting every visit to explain in greater detail what we went through -- both Molly physically and us financially. BEWARE OF AAECP!
