Description Saving with Soul is a fast-growing group of devoted animal rescuers based in the Panhandle of Florida. We specialize in finding shelter animals forever homes through an extensive foster program and weekly adoption events. We do have some dogs and cats housed at our facility as well. We have been together since 2012 when we came into existence as volunteers focusing exclusive on one shelter, but in 2017 we went out on our own. We pull homeless animals from shelters in Okaloosa, Walton and Santa Rosa Counties; between 10 and 50 animals per week.

I have adopted 2 furrychildren over the years from Saving With Soul (SWS). There was Callie, a 14 year old senior "puppy" in January 2019. And the Jaxson (SWS called him "Echo" originally), a 4-5 month old "puppy" in April/May 2022. Because of the amazing work this organization does to rescue, foster, and find beautiful "forever homes" for so many dogs, I highly recommend SWS for your next furrychild(ren). In fact, I stopped by the office on Beal Pkwy earlier today and met 4 new doggos that are available for adoption (uploaded photos). I am definitely a doggy person haha 😄

I adopted a puppy from them and they took care of everything for her. They answer any questions and still help me after having her for over a month. Jennifer Hagedorn and her volunteers are absolute angels on earth. Without their love and care, so many cats and dogs would meet a terrible fate. They provide hope and love to countless animals every day. If you can donate food, toys,cash.foster, and share posts, whatever you can do, it really helps them help deserving animals.

I love Saving with Soul and all that they stand for. I have never met a more dedicated, hard working group of people. Who truthfully care about what they’re doing. I loved the few times I’ve fostered for them, and I recommend everyone to consider them when rescuing a dog.

My sister helps them foster cats until they can be adopted. From newborn kittens that lost the mother all the way up to 6 or 7 year olds that need a new home and everything in between. I have seen them go to shelters that are labeled as kill shelters and take animals from them to keep them safe and find them a home. Love these guys and will support them in every way i can. Thank you so much for helping the lovable animals that just need a good home.

We went in, just wandering around one day, my daughter and I. We ended up leaving with 2 cats. Lol! Th staff was so helpful and even provided a crate for us to take him home. Very friendly and helpful and would recommend them to anybody. Even a couple of weeks after we had adopted, one of the cats got injured, and they were super great at assisting us with where to take him, medical records, ETC. Just a great group of people doing good things!!
