We would not let any other doctor treat our girl. Twice, Dr. Cortes diagnosed Aurora and saved her life where no one else did. He is so kind and gentle...she loves him! He leaves no stone unturned and is so compassionate and easy to talk to. He is patient and attentive. Treats he with love and kindness. Please do not hesitate to visit the clinic and have him take care of your fur babies. The best!!!❤️❤️❤️

Hi meet Bella, Bella has suffered from a severe skin allergy due to poultry she is a full breed pitbull terrier. I had her on a seafood salmon no grain and couldn’t understand what the issue was with the food I was giving her which had a hidden turkey blend mixed that really messed her up. Thanks to My Great And Best Vet Mr Alex Cortes he recommended me to Zignature Kangaroo formula which has an allergic resistance for dogs that have these type of issues. At first Bella had a hard time eating the dry kibbles which led me no choice in getting the full package of wet canned mixed with the dry she loves it and doesn’t miss a meal. Her ear and skin allergy cleared within a month and she is back to her usual happy self thank you Alex so much for recommending her and also taking care of her when ever she had an issue. We appreciate you. Happy 2024

Ever since Dr Nachamie retired i dont find the experience the same,. The vet gave my dog a quick once over; after mentioning she might nip he put a muzzle on her ( which i understand); but never checked her teeth, her body and basically just gave her her spots and sent us on our merry way - no bedside manner - will not be going back

Dr. Cortez and his team genuinely cared about my dog who was experiencing alarming symptoms after a spay operation at another vet clinic. He called to follow-up multiple times to ensure my dog was okay and was not afraid to be completely honest about what he was able to help with and what he was not able to help with. He agilely adjusted to our level of knowledge quickly and intuitively connected with both of our dogs to know which procedures were necessary and which were not. He is confident in his skills, was culturally competent, and had wonderful bedside manner. He does not want to up charge his patients and is thinking about the whole patient in their environment with a lot of empathy and not within a clinical vacuum. We will be returning to this clinic with our future vet needs! Thank you Dr. Cortez.

Brought my dog in to the Mobile Veterinary Animal Clinic vet and was so impressed with the amazing care he received! The entire staff was thoughtful and explained everything that would be happening during our appointment. I could tell that the doctors and vet techs truly care about their patients and work hard to deliver the best care possible.Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for quality healthcare for their dog or cat!.

Doctor Cortez is a very caring, personable and wonderful vet! I was in bind a day before Thanksgiving, when my cat severely broke one of his fangs, it was twisted in a very unnatural way and he was in a lot of pain, barely eating. I called Mobile Vet and Dr Cortez picked up the phone. I asked for a walk in visit, and at first he told me he was completely booked and that his next booking was the following Monday, after the holiday weekend. But then after I explained to him the situation and that I was only a 5min drive away, he told me to come in. I walked in with my cat and we were seen right away. Dr. Cortez and his staff were very friendly, gentle and professional, (even with my crazy cat fiercely fighting them off as they checked his vitals) and they ended up fitting in my cat into their schedule for an emergency teeth extraction which included 5 teeth altogether! (This was my cat's second visit to the vet in the 7 years since we rescued him, so additional tests were offered and long overdue, so we moved forward with that as well) I left my cat in their care as I made my way to work. Later on, I was called by the front desk with notice that my cat was out of surgery and ready for pick up, which ended up to be yet another problem for me as I was stuck at work and had no one else able to help me pick him up before they closed (they offered to drop him off at my place, but it was still within my working hours). I made adjustments to my schedule and told them the best I could do was pick him up just as they would be closing up shop. Yet again they came through and said they would wait for me to come by! Since then, my cat has fully recovered and now happily on a recommended wet food diet so he can eat comfortably. To add the cherry on top, they have reached out twice within the month to check in on my baby. I don't usually write lengthy reviews, but I thought this story was worth telling as it restored my faith in vets and the miracles work they perform on our animal companions. I hope my story is helpful to anyone in need of care for their animal family member. Thank you Dr. Cortez for helping my fur babe! 🙏🏼♥️😌
