Great People helping animals. Every time we visit, it is clean and people are very friendly. They are in need of food and other things. Stop by and support.
I just adopted a puppy from MCAS and the staff were all AMAZING. I found the sweetest little puppy. Her and my other dog are two peas in a pod. If you want to adopt this is is the place to do it.
I adopted Bill from this shelter in 2016 when he was a year old and we’ve been best friends ever since. Couldn’t imagine life without him and I’m very thankful for this shelter.
We had a stray pit bull break through the skirting on my mobile home on the front and back of the house. It was chasing my cat that has been a part of my family for 10 years. She killed my pet in my back yard and then got stuck In my yard where I have 4 other pet cats that live here the dog was very aggressive towards cats. I called and stressed the urgency of the situation and the dog was completely unwilling to cooperate when we tried to get it to leave the yard. The dispatcher at the animal control was very rude and unprofessional acting as if we were being ridiculous for trying to get them out there and proceeded to tell me that they didn’t know when they could come out here. It’s been 3 days now and haven’t even heard from them. The dog eventually left after days of me worrying about my animals. It’s a joke to even call them “Animal Control”. I talked to a supervisor he said they had calls that haven’t been answered that are over a month old. So what is the point of having this service to the community it’s a waste of time to call them.
I'm still getting used to her. but she pesters the cat. After while not anymore.
The shelter came a day later and left card on door but allowed neighbors to keep dog that tried to attack my 10 year old daughter her dog and myself. I have 3 inch claw marks on my chest but I guess it doesn't matter
