This was my first time with adopting a rescue dog and I can say that it was an extremely positive experience! The people at ODAAT obviously love and care deeply about the animals in their care and work carefully to match the pets to their new potential families. I am now the very happy mama to an adorable new furball who is quickly stealing his way into my heart!

We adopted our wonderful dog Beau (now named Sheru) through this organization about two months ago. We are so grateful to have found them! This organization is run by very dedicated and hard-working individuals. Kari is amazing and soo helpful with the whole process! We are first time dog owners and ODAAT made sure to find us a great match! They do amazing work, and we would definitely adopt from ODAAT again and also recommend ODAAT to anyone else looking for a furry family member!

ODAAT Rescue is operated by a small, hardworking, volunteer staff dedicated to providing loving care to homeless dogs and cats. We recently adopted Tucker from ODAAT. From our initial contact, through the application process, and Kari helping us pick our Tucker from so many sweet dogs in need of forever homes; the application process was very thorough. The Adoption Contract was equally thorough and detail oriented. Much forethought has gone into the care and adoption of these animals. The animals are treated by a vet, socialized, microchipped with ODAAT’s contact information in case they are ever lost or need to be re-homed. The Contract stipulates that animals are to be returned to ODAAT, or re-homing an animal must to be approved by ODAAT. It is comforting to know that our Tucker will always have a home in case something happens to us. Kari gave us her personal contact information in case we had any questions or concerns regarding Tucker’s care. We were honored and touched to join the family of ODAAT adopters. We are so happy to have a wonderful new family member in Tucker and an extended family of like-minded animal lovers, starting with the ODAAT staff, to support us and Tucker. I would highly recommend ODAAT to anyone contemplating a pet adoption.
