We have brought all of our pets here since we moved to Paso 2 years ago. In 2 short years they have been with us through alot. From adopting our kitty to having to put our dog to rest. Compassion goes a long way here. The doctors are gentle and explain in details that are understandable. We will continue to use them as our primary family pet care. ❤️ Our thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff.

Our dog Molly was having a diabetic issue and we were 3 hours away from our regular vet. I googled vets in the area and found North County. It was a Saturday and they got us in. They are the nicest people and took time explaining Molly’s situation So glad we now have a vet we feel comfortable with when we are out of town. Molly is fine

My little monsters always receive the best care at NCAH!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always schedule care appointments when I am in town from Monterey because the pricing is about 30-40% lower than the rates they charge up north. NCAH was my vet when living in Paso full time, and the care my dogs receive here is far better than the vets I have used in Monterey. Thanks for taking great care of my boy TRod this week!

If I could give the female that answered the phone a zero I would. She was rude from the intro. I made an appointment for my senior dog to get his nails trimmed and possible arthritis help, he has had his nails trimmed in the last few months but she claims he has not been seen since 2022 and requires a new exam. I began to tell her he has been seen and she right away started raising the volume of her voice to speak over me "what she can see in the system". I began to ask her, if I found the paperwork from his last exam can I bring it in and again she fought with me, speaking over me and saying "She can see the exact time they last saw him and it was 2022" I asked a simple yes or no that could have ended the call but she continued to argue.... as the customer service representative in a veterinary office with clientele dating back decades.... She needs customer service training immediately.

I live in San Miguel, and drive to Atascadero for the animal hospital. There are amazing and sweet and organized there. Multiple times here at paso they lost records or are incorrect records. I’m pretty sure my cat got dbl vaccines because they got confused. I have multiple dogs so it’s easy and makes sense to bring them all in together but the records show one dog didn’t get a vaccine or there dates are months off and it’s just a hot mess. And I know it’s not just me because I’ve seen other customers go off on front desk for the exact same thing! If they get organized I’m sure they would be better at their services. You have to engage with the front desk it’s not like hello I’ll be right with you, have a seat please. Ik they have it in them to be better and hope they get there.
